But also catchy as hell. I see this hardcore resurgence as kinda of a response to all the metal core stuff that been kinda leading the pack of mainstream metal for the last 5+ years.

Pretty much the latter but it was enough and hilarious enough it made larger metal media notice. Especially the parent saying "after 3rd or 4th JUNT of the guitar my 4 year old started crying"

Kinda surprised it took so long. All summer I've been seeing YouTube shorts of Adrian getting pissed at Nicko for fucking up the timing or transitions on shit.

Unfortunate that drummers always have the shortest lifespans in bands, but that job truly is the young man's game. Drumming benefits less from the wisdom of years than any other instrument, and suffers more from the rigors of age.
