There are 'Drugs are BAD kids !' after-school specials that are embarrassed on the behalf of the writers.

Yes it did. Barclay was shown specifically making versions of the crew's women that wanted to bang him, and got reprimanded for it.

Quark's holosuites were pretty much a brothel.

Ya, TNG's was a bit more subtle because of TV standards at the time. Barclay basically made every male crew an idiot and all the female crew madly attracted to him. Quark full up admitted that most people who used his holosuites either wanted to bang stuff or kill stuff lol. There was an early episode where a guy wanted Quark to get a good 3D scan of Kira so he could make a porn holoprogram with her as the star.
