These are fascinating because they baffle all the search and rescue people. Sure it's easy to say well they must have been eaten by animals or fell in a random hole never to be seen again.
But it isn't like that's a new theory. Search and rescue teams explored all obvious angles only to end up with, "fuck knows man vanished into thin air and we have no idea whatsoever as to what happened."
I especially liked the 80 year old man in a hunting group with like a dozen people. Vanished without a trace in broad daylight and bloodhounds refused or couldn't track his scent.

There was a report that a guy went missing on a ski trip from across the country. Turned up in all his ski gear, wandering the streets of...I think it was San Fran. No idea how he got there, has no recollection of what happened.
The 411 cases are quite amazeballs.
