i think there were giants. maybe even an entire race of them. but i also think the term giant is relative. people a long time ago were much shorter. like maybe not even 5 feet tall. so somebody around 7 foot would probably be considered a giant. i also think some of those giant skeletons being found might not have been human, but maybe a bear or some other wild animal they decided to bury for whatever reason.
the 9 foot or taller race of humans is a nice concept, but i would like a little more proof of it.

homo ecructus and some of it's subs, while not 9 feet, might as well have been giants during their reign just based on muscle mass and brain power alone, which dwarfed early sapians. Unfortunately they needed too many calories to support their extra bullshit so they couldn't compete with their coyote like homo sapian spawn

Pretty sure we've talked about giants before.
Giants existing isn't something new. We have plenty of examples of megazord humans at a large number of ancient sites.
Removing ancient sites, NA finds, old European legends, and anything out of China, you still are left with Africas footprints and the massive sprawl of a settlement. Japan has it's mega stone weapons.
The bible had a really good, in depth article on that race. You know...before the now proven comet wiped nearly all of them out with the fallout/world wide flood events.

I've seen videos explaining how while we were hunter / gatherer, we were taller. Then when we decided to harvest we became shorter over the time, mostly due to the lack of a lot of nutrients in cereals (sorry vegans) We're basically now recovering from this period.

before i can get on the "8-12 foot giants are real" train, i need some photographic evidence of them. yes, those old newspaper articles mention a bunch of giants unearthed and yes the lack of evidence is often blamed on The Smithsonian covering it all up, for reasons. but i cant hang my hat on that. its why i try to stay in my own lane with the ancient civilizations. you can see and touch those things. if there is a coverup its established science unwilling to get over their set historical narrative. though thats been unravelling more and more as older and older sites get discovered/updated as older. the ancient giants camp doesnt have much in the way of recent discoveries. i know that sucks for everyone. if it were true it would fit in with some of the missing pieces of these megaltihic constructions.
somebody might say, look at those large structures! only a giant would live in there. to that i say, ok then, but why do giants have large buildings but the steps leading up to them are normal human sized? ive looked into this stuff for a long time. i watch all the docs and lectures, even the ones from that stonemason dickhead from Boston. that guy's thing seems to be that this is all being covered up because of muh racism. thats still not evidence. not calling this bullshit, but i need more. even you

there are some american indian tribes that were really tall. they towered over the european settlers who were short by today's standards. those tall indians were over 6 foot. those are interesting. but yeah not giant giants like their legends say.

this doesnt really make any sense as the diet variety of a hunter gatherer was even more limited than that of a farmer, not to mention more sporadic. a bigger factor in determining height would be the consistency in availability of nutrients, not variety -- and the farming lifestyle delivered that consistency much better than hunting/gathering.
there were also other mammals that grew very large in prehistoric times, which had nothing to do with "lifestyle": wooly mammoths, sabertooth tigers, etc.
animals before mass extinctions (insects, dinosaurs, etc.) were even bigger due to higher oxygen content in the atmosphere
and of course, evolution dictates that larger animals inevitably grow larger as they establish themselves as apex animals.
