yeah, the freshwater aspect of Loch Ness was always a huge dent in the idea there was some kind of plesiosaur chilling out there. the other being that every single photo of Loch Ness was proven to be a hoax.I love the stories but Bigfoot and Nessie just aren't credible when you have zero physical evidence.
These animals have almost perfect stealth skills and clean up their own shit and bodies?
OK so there's loads of wilderness for Bigfoot to live in? There's that for Gorillas and Orangutans too, but their range goes up to human settlements so we see them.
Nessie at least has precedent for aquatic cryptids turning out to be real (Narwhals, Giant Squid) because the deep Ocean is so vast compared to wilderness areas on land. Assuming Loch Ness has a passage to the sea, which it doesn't.
