Not surprised we disagree wildly. I think every religion is going to attempt to control the narrative of this new reality of UFO’s in order to come out okay on the other side of disclosure and this is just the Catholic version of that. I think every major religion will be working on reinterpretations to help their members adapt to a new reality without having too much of an existential crisis.

The core of this new age stuff has been around forever and that is that we are fractals of Gods consciousness experiencing this creation subjectively, our bodies are the only temple we need and there really isn’t a need for any of the worlds religions.

You think the Catholic Church is going to adopt this position?

Seriously, what do you guys make of all this shit? I was raised in serious Protestant family but found atheism, materialism, and consciousness being local made much more sense to me and have lived pretty comfortably in that belief for the last 15-20 year. Now after a few years of looking at the UFO phenomenon which then dovetailed into consciousness and quantum physics I can’t fathom any way that we resulted except for a Creator.

Sometimes I just laugh at the thought of myself, a hillbilly construction worker that barely graduated high school, trying to piece together the great mysteries of the universe by trying to piece together different YouTube videos and podcasts. WTF is going on? I can’t help but wonder if my canary in the coal mine is still alive.

The powers that be are just adapting to the changes in human society. The control mechanisms that organized religion afforded said powers have pretty much played out their effectiveness in developed societies. With the availability of information in developing societies ever increasing, an evolution of the societal control mechanisms was/is inevitable.

I pay a fair amount of attention to the talking heads like Greer, Elizondo, Pasulka, among others. Each of these types of people seem to present their own version of the meaningfulness of religion with regards to NHI, but as usual their interpretations vary with their lived/learned experience.

On the other side of the coin, consciousness research and quantum mechanics research are juuuust starting to come together around consciousness and the collapse of the wave function. There is still decades of research and investigation to be done in this area by Science, as clearly QM doesn't jive with special General Relativity as it is understood today.

There is the same dearth of truth today as has always existed in this realm. We are barely starting to crack the surface of consciousness' role in all of this. Religion has always been one way for people to reach a certain "level" of consciousness that may or may not lead to experiences that can be construed as "religious experiences", "alien experiences", or even delusion.

This is why I think philosophy classes should be taught to middle aged people. It's mostly lost on 20 year olds with no life experience. It's not until you've been an adult for 2 or 3 decades that you really start thinking about this stuff and at that point there's not much guidance to learn about what people have thought about in the past.

I never had any philosophy in school, but I've been running across it alot lately on youtube.

One of the things I was interested recently is people constantly throwing around the word "Fascist" and I had no idea what that meant other than it was some kind of insult I guess? So I watched a few videos on it and it is a branch of philosphy, which made me realize most of the people throwing the word around have no idea what it means.

But I wasn't really equipped to grasp it myself as the branches go up to Plato etc. The Esoterica channel I like for magic stuff goes into bits of it here and there.

I think it is probably something I really need as a game developer, for story writing and such. I'll get around to it someday.

I'm guessing that humans are uplifted primates, gengineered by gods/elves/angels etc many millions of years ago. It makes sense the more you look at the differences between humans.

I'm also guessing there's some truth to outsiders coming here using us as labor to find gold. For that to really make sense though, gold would need to be scarce in asteroids, and I don't know that it is. Earth got lucky with a big impact that sent core heavy elements up into the mantle and crust.

I mostly think about this stuff as a setting for a game because there's no way to know anything for sure right now.

Has this ever been debunked? Ngl the whites in the aliens eyes creeps me out, they usually just have black eyes. Very obscure video without many views despite being uploaded years ago.
