Brahma, check out the Corsair MMO mouse as well. Unfortunately if you want solid mouse wheels you have to go Logitech it seems. Have you tried their new line? I got a Proteus Core (not the MMO version but they do have one) and it's decent.

I use a knife bar, safe so much countertop space. I'm in a rental atm, so i didn't want to drilling into the tile for obvious reasons, so i got a double sided bar magnet. Apparently they sell these for handmen, you stick em on the side of your metal tool boxes, so i stuck it on the side of my fridge, over 2 years not a knife dropped due to gravity, sure 1 time i banged into it, but never slips.

Dude...you are exactly right. Same thing here. I took off all those tiny ass girly buttons, and put on the fat ass manly buttons!

interesting, i've used a ton of mice and feel 4 on the thumb is about right, never tried 6 though. how's the wheel? most Logi mice now have the push button where you can go from click scroll to free scroll, letting you navigate web pages much faster. i'm very addicted to that. also, can you change the weight? my 2nd logi 700 wireless flaked out again, no more wireless mice. picked up a g400 on supersale just to see and it's way too light as well as no wheel adjustment.

All 6 buttons are well within reach. Though that bottom right takes some getting used to reaching for. You can not change the weight. You can not go from click scroll to free scroll. Though the scroll IMO is perfect.
That fin on top of the mouse is what I use to swap my profiles for whatever games, and desktop mode. It will audibly tell you what profile you are on by saying "profile 1" or whatever. Though you need to know what the profiles are. I just used different colors on the mouse to help me remember. Diablo Red. BF4 orange. LOL blue etc.
The software is VERY intuitive, from drag and drop for the button layout, to easy as pie making macros.
3 complaints. The mouse and the thumb buttons do NOT have a non slip surface. For someone like me who picks the mouse up a ton, it kinda is a PITA to get used to. Also though the buttons are very clicky, they are not omicron switches. Though you absolutely feel the buttons. Last is the pinky rest grip. It is not made for someone with large hands. I'm kinda stuck with the smaller rest, which means you have to drag your pinky.
9/10 mouse for me.
