One, he does not look white. You're saying that if went and lived with a black family, his views would have changed due to the racism they encounter all the time in their lives. I am saying he probably dealt with racism growing up (really a Hispanic Jew probably got ragged on all the fucking time in school at least) and knows what it feels like to be targeted because of just who he is. If you couldn't deduct that from my post, again I reiterate, you are retarded.

Edit because you are fucking retarded. As everyone has said and the evidence has shown there is zero reason to believe Zimmerman is racist. You seem to still be believing all the shit information the news outlets plastered all over the place right after the incident happened. Maybe, the police questioned him and let him go so quickly because there was such a glaring amount of evidence to suggest Zimmerman really didn't start the confrontation and was defending his life. Not until the media heard about it did they blow the thing out of proportion and put the Zimmerman and legal system in the position it is in now. Or maybe Zimmerman was racist, who knows? We don't though other than going by a kneejerk reaction by the media and zero definitive proof.

Maybe instead of making up shit off the top of our head as to what Zimmerman is and is not and what really happened, let's look at what the evidence shows:

The evidence does not show Zimmerman as a racist. There are no previous instances of Zimmerman using racial slurs or discriminating against black people, unless you count calling 911 to report suspicious black people since all the previous crimes in the neighborhood involved black people. In fact, the previous year he actually was part of a rally that condemned the SPD against the beating of a homeless black man by a cop.

The evidence does not show that Zimmerman instigated the fight. It shows that he did at one point follow him, then was asked (not told, 911 operators have no authority to give orders) to stop following him. There is no evidence that proves that he continued to follow him, outside of Rachel's testimony.

Saying it's Zimmerman's actions (getting out of the car and initially following) that caused the whole confrontation completely ignores any actions Martin could of taken. The point is that none of this can be proven one way or the other. Is it possible Zimmerman threw the first punch? Sure. But if I understand the justice system correctly, you need to prove that. Not say 'well it's possible' and thus throw the guy in jail because it's possible.

No it is not racist. It was a complaint about people specific to one neighborhood, not a race as a whole.

There are black neighborhoods I would not be caught in at night. On the other hand, if I were to be gone from home for awhile, I would not hesitate to ask my neighbors (also black) to watch the house.

I am not defending racism, you're inventing it where none exists.

If a group of trouble makers are Mexican, it's not racist to refer to them as such, nor does it mean you consider all Mexicans to be like those in that group of trouble makers.

It sounds like George lived in a rough Mexican neighborhood. My Mexican step father has also told stories of similar neighborhoods.
