Im pretty sure they did, so to of doing what you said above, they now this season due to this are haveing to way, way,way strectch their shitty writing for the shows to water it down even more.
So their are like hmm, we cant have Rick go Organize and head to battle the Governor to soon the main Villian this year, lets have the Bat shit Crazy annoying Lori who is dead now take up most of the next 3-4 Episodes.

Can you blame them for wanting to drag this show out? I'm pretty sure it has more viewers than Breaking Bad, Mad Men and the next five of this network's shows combined.
I thought people were already upset that it wasn't following the comics.
Not that I've read the comics. I would imagine the comics are pretty much the same sort of terrible circular plot arcs though. Nothing is ever resolved and the groups finds themselves in the same uninteresting zombie fights, caused by the same carelessness, and interspersed with soap opera dialogue.

Last night's episode was boring from start to finish, jesus what a let down. If you're coming back from a mid-season break at least have cool shit happen. I wish Andrea and her stupid DUMBASS facial expressions would get killed. When she did her little speech in the town all I could think was "Fuck, this is Lost all over again." Another dumbass bitch getting involved in all the drama where she doesn't belong.

thats true. both are now equally bad. for a while there rick had some purpose, his best moments were towards the end of last season. this year hes just coasting and now the wheels have come off the train and hes dead in the water. the first thing he should have done after last night's rescue, was tell his crew. ok guys get your gear, we are getting the fuck out of here. woodbury is going to retaliate. hi new people. you want this prison? have at it. say hi to the governor for me. govenor same deal except his fail came much faster. dude starting falling apart almost right off the bat.

Rick's fall down the ladder of sanity really isn't off base. I mean the dude has been betrayed and almost murdered by his best friend, had his wife killed by his own son while she was having Shane's baby, is responsible for keeping the group alive and moving, and let alone all the shit he's had to do and deal with. He pulls himself back together in the comics, so I assume he will here too.
According to some stuff I read, I think Tyreese is going to help him get back on track. He's going to be the new heart of the group.

I must of missed the whole Rick seeing a ghost thing. I wasn't really paying attention when I watched the episode. Looks like I really didn't need to.

I had stopped watching midway through the first half of season three and caught up yesterday to then watch the premiere and the writing is just sobad.Whoever is choreographing the action needs to be fired. The show's attention to detail is piss fucking poor. I hardly understand why anyone is doing anything and after repeated character assassinations on Rick by the writers he is clearly the villain of the story. The best thing the newcomers could do would be to leave and go to Woodbury.
