I dunno, Carol is only fitting in play along. Rick is hella cautious. Carl is sneaking out after the girl sneaking out. Glenn is punching Deanna's son. The pointless military character is shouting "Who's Deanna?!

Not everyone is treating Alexandria as a "return to normal" I wouldn't say.

It really was a good episode, though. Had just enough humor. Had actual plotting and emotion and meaning behind actions. Even the zombies were meaningful and not just pointless slaughter. How long before things go full retard?

Edit- In fact I saw TONS of clues this episode that I'm sure others caught. Rick touching the gun when looking at the chick's husband, the A on Rick's hand like the A section in Terminus( labeling cattle ).
I saw some more but they are pretty much spoiler.

I suppose Hillary is just trying to let her people live their little naive illusion for as long as they can. Rick and her seem to be on the same page without actually saying it - he knows he shouldn't take over until people see for themselves the trouble they are in. If he acts too soon then he's the bad guy. But Hilary wants to wait too late, thus "drama". Rick isn't going to let his people die so these idiots can realize they have more worries beyond chocolate rations.

You know, he could just take them on a field trip to Token's town near Richmond. That'd pucker their snobby NOVA assholes right up. They'd give Rick all the guns and guard towers he wants. But that's too easy.

I think there will be like, half an episode of "Fuck you I'm in charge now" and people moping about all resentful and shit and big tittied blonde will be all "how can you betray us like this!? *sob*" followed one commercial break later by "OMG you were totally right save us please!"

I had assumed the stamp on the hand meant that the person was accounted for at the Mayor's party. That way when someone finds out guns or something else has been stolen they could isolate who the possible culprits were.

Though, I kind of doubted that because of the scene with Carol. She is definitely one of the more interesting characters now.
