Because Marlo was the one person in the show that didn't deserve to make it through unscathed. As others have said the dude had no code. Its the whole honor among thiefs thing. That's why even Bodi was willing to do whatever it took, like going to the cops, to bring him down. Because the dude wasn't good for the game.

He had a code, it was just a different code. He wasn't good for the game, sure, but none of them were really. The game itself is fucked up and destroys the city.

He just won't last very long. They made that pretty clear at the end.

Finished 2nd season (again) today.took a while to finish because me and the wife had so much shit to do this last month.
This season still is the best, imo. It's very different from the others but shows that the Greeks are one of the most important people, without them there is no game.

It's different. Not as radically different as S2 was, but it's different. I liked it though.

I like ole McNutty and the rest, but Bunny and his speeches are my favorite part of the show. I think this is from season 3.

Yeah I'm gonna agree, there's some personal preference stuff, but they're all such amazing TV it's not worth trying to compare them.

S5 went a bit far, but at least provided some closure (well, Wire style closure, which isn't really closure at all).

This is really truly the best television show ever in my opinion. only a couple shows even come close.

I get so much enjoyment out of each scene. even the most trivial moments are so well written, acted, edited, etc.

This is one of a very few shows or movies where the casting is never even considered. I could not see anyone else playing these characters.
they are all so perfectly chosen for not only their respective roles but also for their chemistry with the other actors.

I was very sad that they went so far in season 5 and made it seem unrealistic(comparatively). but even S5 is something i will happily re-watch with the rest of the series every year or two for the rest of my life.
