Again the character isnt a SECRET. Hes in the fucking cast list, and has been on many news sites before the movie even came out.

If every person was banned for you acting retarded, there would be no one on this fucking site.

Thanos (CG or not) would never be in a cast list since its a true secret character. There are a million websites reporting Bencio Del Toro is in Thor 2..
And lets be honest, about 5 nerds on the planet even know who that character is. That is truly an obscure marvel character.

Does IMDB cast list a spoiler as well??? Marvel obviously does not agree with you

thanks you fucking piece of shit, you just spoilered it for me

can i know why this idiot is allowed to trash every single fucking thread in and no actions are taken ?
It's because I'm not a mod. Then again, I'd be a terrible and tyrannical mod. I don't have the patience or forgiveness for some people here.

To be fair, the IMDB cast list does show the actor, but he's ranked like 45th on the cast list (and it mentions he was uncredited for it), so it should have been put in spoilers no matter what you think.

As for the others, especially people who are disturbed by that bit of spoiler, don't let it bother you too much. From having seen it, I can tell you that while that scene was interesting for the future of the franchise, it's not something that will make or break this movie for you so just go watch it and have fun. Also make sure you stay AFTER that scene too because there is a second stinger at the very end of the long long credits.

Fuck it, missed the second post credit scene.

Thought it was finished after the mid-credit one.

If anyone is willing to post a link to the second one, I'd be thankful.

Aside from that, the movie was great.

The movie is packed with comedy, 90% of it being one liners by Loki or Kat Dennings (ie: the laziest form of comedy). A bit of a shame considering the good part of Thor in the first movie and in the Avengers is when through solemnity and a somewhat literary language, the tale gets an air of classic epic. Still watchable and reasonably entertaining. Alan Taylor, whose imdb filmography reads like a list of the best TV Series of the past 2 decades, does a serviceable job but struggles at times with the editing of action scenes.

NB: 3D totally useless. See in 2D if possible.

PS:
Loki killing the dark elf creature and saying "I'll see you in hell" or whatever seemed a bit facefalm worthy given the nordic mythology context.

PPS: I still don't understand why they hire Tadanobu Asano and Ray Stevenson to show up in 7 shots and have 2 lines each.

1 i like both of Kat Dennings' oneliners...badum tsssss
2 MitcH Hedberg and Joss Whedon would like a word with you.

A well placed oneliner can carry a bigger effect than a long drawn joke.

Oneliners in the context of a movie has very little to do with what a Mitch Hedberg did or what a Jimmy Carr or aStewart Francisdo. Oneliners in stand-up are like the haiku of jokes, something self-contained and condensed to the extreme. In the movies, it's breaking the tone of a situation with a single line to provoke a cheap chuckle. That requires timing and delivery talent from the actor, but not much from the writer and the director. You can effectively write a whole script and then, after the fact, add a comic relief character that will walk along the main characters and only deliver one liners without ever interacting with anyone or anything.
