I didnt expect them to "stick the landing" in some 10/10 perfection but I expected more than 2/10 which is how every finale of TD ended.

It's well established that the TV/movie board is just for haters. Coming here to talk about a show you like is always a mistake.
Six feet under had its ups and downs but it did end very nicely. It got pretty bad before they decided to end it though. The show starts with the death of the patriarch of the family in a small mortuary business and I watched it shortly after my Dad died so there was a lot I could relate to, especially in the beginning. You have to be the type that can watch a character-driven show though. There are no gunfights or car chases that I can recall.

I mean, this place used to be the opposite. Like the Lost theory crafting was great. Or weekly posts about Breaking Bad. The problem is TV mostly turned to shit since those days. I'd say the last show that had decent discussion was Game of Thrones and that's probably about when every thread devolved into calling out how shit writing was getting, and that show was the frontrunner.

S1 of this show had the same theory crafting going on too. II remember all the BS and screenshots of all the scenes and what they placed in the scenes and the meaning behind them, all the hoodo shit and all that. And I think people were just let down because it was only just a murder mystery in the end, nothing more. But the hype and buildup people had in their heads about what was going on in this show and the eerie atmosphere of the location, who could blame them. I know I was sold on that shit too.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'm glad S1 wasn't some mystical supernatural other world BS. The banality of evil was enough and fitting for the story and characters.
In that same respect, probably explains why I wasn't turned off by the end of season three.

I'm not following. S3 ending showed a fucking frozen ice dragon but then 30 seconds later forgot it existed and went back to boring "lol it was the indian chicks"
