I remember when they had Stevie Nicks guest appear on American Horror Story to sing a song and I realized I didn't want to watch it anymore. And then I shut it off and never thought about it again(til now). When they had this fat retard just randomly show up on this show to blubber out some bad blues traveler knockoff song. It told me that this isn't going so well.

I just think they didnt have season 2+ fully fleshed out when they were pitching the show so they went a little too formulaic with it.
First couple of episodes of Season 1 were just as slow with the setup, but you still had these fish out of water scenes to carry the episodes, you know dwight learning what a debit card was, or how phone apps work, or the internet.
Season 2 you can no longer rely on those fun little scenes to fill in the gaps between the set pieces moving around so the filler is just....idk dumb?

That bank scene was terrible. I guess they are setting something up for a later episode, but that nog wouldn't shut up about the stupid mug. It's so typical too. Ooh it's free? I'll take it!

I am hoping they are setting it up for a robbery but the way this season is going they are setting it up for a scene where Stallone argues with the banker over terms on the windfarm loan.

A lot of that was slap dash spur of the moment. Sly gets put in jail. By coincidence he sits next to a guy doing time for a wind farm scam and now it's a major plot point of the season. The big bad just so happens to be a mob guy completely unaware that Dwight backed by the Mafia has been doing his thing on his turf for a year. Oh well. It's Sly.

To be fair he just broke out this year. You have to be paying attention to know who he is. It's not like he's had a multi year tear of hits.
