You are confused. That's twitch banning streamers not streamers banning viewers.
You can't say or express any views on your channel that go against twitch TOS or your channel is banned.
Saying the word faggot on your channel is a ban, and if someone else says it on your stream that's also a ban.
Saying that you feel that people who say that there are more than two genders are wrong, on your channel, gets your channel banned.
In other words twitch tells you what you can and can not say on your own channel and its getting worse.

Although this is truth, you cannot believe any of these ass clowns, I could see twitch finally busting out some bank to keep some of the top streamers right where they are. even with a simple contract restructuring allowing him to keep more of his sub percentage. Money talks bullshit walks. This is nothing more than a job for these dudes now. I cant see them being loyal just for the sake of being loyal.
As to the whole advertisers being skittish, I feel like this is a big cop out explanation to whats going on on twitch. Twitch is just extremely hypocritical about it, with admins favoring thotts who give them nudes and letting them get away with shit while sperglords who say non PC stuff get perma banned because no one gives a shit about them. If they moved to mixer and said the exact same things they will also get perma banned if anyone notices and makes a big enough stink. Mixer admins for now I think are all actual microsoft employees so no one has tried to buy them off with nudes or whatever, but if the service grows the staff will get more retarded and you'll see the same corruption in mixer staff as you see in twitch staff now.
Mixer is not libertarian utopia. You're just seeing the difference between a small scale operation and a massive operation, if they equalize the problems will also equalize.
