IKR, that shit is so insane. I've gifted a couple subs here and there when I have extra money, especially around Christmas time. 100 subs x2 is crazy. If I had money to blow I'd prolly do the same. It's fun to do and makes a bunch of peoples days.

It's crazy the amount of gifted subs I've gotten just by being a nice guy. Spent NYE with kinAmazing. She's the ginger French Canadian. First time I've ever continued a sub on my own.

Why do you all even donate randomly anyhow? Seems like a round-about way to just give a streamer money, with the twitch cut in most streamers case being like 50% isn't a bit or cash donation better?

I've received a couple gift subs to random people I'm just chilling out watching and both times it doesn't get me to hang out and maintain that sub.

I've payed to sub to certain channels for a month here and there when I'm trying to learn more about the game and the channel/streamer has good info and interacts well with the audience, answering questions and such. That's a worthwhile service.
