The real reason is because they discovered he is not actually a doctor.
Goddammit, I was just about to post "He's fine, there's no way a jury would take a woman's word over a doctor's."
The real reason is because they discovered he is not actually a doctor.
"She forgave him" Youre funny. It will be interesting to see what actually comes of all of this. It's possible it might be related to the women he cheated with, which might explain why his wife didn't seem to be upset in that IG post. If she already forgave him for that and now suddenly those women are "he used violence, speed, and momentum against us!!! giev monies", it could explain Twitch's fast reaction and why there isn't any criminal shit apparent - because the accusers don't have any substantial case, but the accusations are considered "evidence" enough.
The absolute silence on the subject makes me think there is a lot of legal shit going on in the background where both sides really don't want to comment on the details because it would be damning to both. Doc wouldn't want to drag that out in the open again (because it's damaging to the brand - even a slight accusation of rape/sexual assault is poison, even if disproved later) and Twitch would take heat because they already knew about this long ago, gave Doc a big contract, and now it's suddenly a much bigger deal and they cut ties.
Now Twitch has itself caught in a very bad position: If they restore Doc and details get out, that hurts Twitch's credibility more and calls into questions their other bans. If they don't restore him, then they risk possible litigation (which also makes Twitch look bad, depending on details). Doc is also in a sensitive position, because if it ends up being related to the person he cheated with and her accusations go public (even if false or only half-true), then it swirls him in the whole streaming/esports "metoo" shitstorm going on, which would be a fatal blow to his career.

Whatever happened it's beginning to look at this point twitch fucked up their end of it so now they're in crazy legal mode trying to cover their ass. It doesn't matter if it's sex allegations or even if they're true twitch is screwing themselves with how they are handling it.
The Tech industry has a sickness called being WOKE and it has infected all of them, it leads them to do the dumbest shit imaginable.
Im with ya, it was just an easy woman joke of never forgetting and bringing it up at horrible times. Half my old ass friends all took a break from their highschool sweeties to get a little action and it is what it is.People do forgive cheating. I'm not saying it's smart or that I personally ever would...but I do have friends in a couple marriages where early on when young one person cheated, the other eventually forgave and they got back together and it has worked out fine. Granted these are 15+ year relationships where the couples in question started dating in high school.
The sheer amount of stupid shit you make up to guess at is fucking hilarious. You are a faggot with zero clue and are no more informed than the rest of us. I am glad you have so much confidence it’s metoo shit and twitch is culpable for it. You worthless cocksuckers disgust me. Who cars if Doc twat pounded some skank. Cancel culture is shit and so are you faggots who support it.

I think almost nobody around here is going to understand that one.
All I read was "derp derp me no know how to read derp".
Cancel culture is shit. Yes, who fucking cares if he hooked up with someone.
But the reality is it -does- matter to these companies and some edgelord asshat like you spitting liquid shit fire on this forum isn't going to change the reality of Twitch bowing to that pressure.
It happens, who knows. All we know is she didn't divorce him. I used to work with a girl where her boyfriend cheated on her and she still ended up marrying him and having a few kids with them.
