Doc is also in a sensitive position, because if it ends up being related to the person he cheated with and her accusations go public (even if false or only half-true), then it swirls him in the whole streaming/esports "metoo" shitstorm going on, which would be a fatal blow to his career.

People do forgive cheating. I'm not saying it's smart or that I personally ever would...but I do have friends in a couple marriages where early on when young one person cheated, the other eventually forgave and they got back together and it has worked out fine. Granted these are 15+ year relationships where the couples in question started dating in high school.

The weird silence makes me think it could just be something where Twitch didn't want to have to pay out his contract after seeing with happened with Mixer, and they looked for/think they found a loophole to get out of his deal.

yeah the spotify thing is BS, there was an aprils fool article last year saying Google bought spotify but its a public company not owned by google. 10% is owned by Tencent (China) and music labels like Sony and Universal own a small percentage too.
