Twitch is a fucking gaming platform, to watch gamers play games. The whores (and other just chatters) can fuck off to other sites that are dedicated to whores spreading their legs and flapping their meat curtains. Keep that shit off of twitch. So while yes, maybe the average age of twitch streamer is 21, there is plenty of kids jumping on there to watch their great heroes stream shit like minecraft and fortnite (which BTW has 300K viewers right now). Guess who even clued me into twitch back in the day before I knew it even existed....MY KIDS.

I mean as agamer, why would you even want shit like that to overtake the gaming streaming site?

sorry but having kids and watching society for 40 years has taught me that those crazy Christians were right about a lot of things, and I say this as an agnostic that leans towards athiesm.

It isn't even some crazy evangelical take. Twitch is marketed as a gaming platform, not only that but it is explicitly marketed as a nonsexualized gaming platform via their TOS and moderation rules, they sell advertising under this premise. They have plenty of children on the platform and activly target that demographic, I am not saying the content should be removed or even making a moral argument like the retard seems to think. I am pointing out that Twitch either needs to modify their stance and come out as pro-roastbeef onlyfans sexualized content or if they want to have a modicum of integrity admit these skanks are abusing the TOS and take action against it.

As you said they had an origin of X and over time the site has evolved to Y then their TOS and marketing should shift from X to Y as well.

Payment processors and advertisers do have tremendous sway and usually are the ones deeming what is acceptable. That is one reason why Patreon started to ban even vanilla shit and Onlyfans even is starting to remove anything that isn’t the most vanilla of vanilla shit

If Twitch is a gaming platform, then why are they hosting the following streams (current viewer counts)

Music - 70k viewers
Talk shows and podcasts - 14k viewers
Food and Drink - 11k viewers
Science and Technology - 5.7k viewers
Art - 15k viewers

None of those are even in the category of Just Chatting which is 700k all by itself. Twitch is a social media streaming platform. They made that choice a long time ago. They proudly display Just Chatting as their number one category (due to viewers). That's not by accident. They could easily bring the hammer down on all these hot tub streams but they love that money. The girls are just taking advantage of it.

The site already is sectioned off. It’s pretty hard to just randomly wander into some random channel with someone showing their boobs in a hot tub.

Recommendations are driven by what you watch, just like any media platform. If you’re getting a bunch of thot recommendations, it’s because the algorithm has determined that is what you watch. I just watch FPS gamers or funny variety streamers like Strippin or Tomato. All my recommendations are usually streamers doing that type of content. I never get the thot streams as recommendations.

If you are, then that means you watch those channels. Or you don’t use Twitch at all and rely on 2nd hand info from people with an agenda already
