You don't have any interaction with people on TV. So ppl who watch doesn't care, they already dead inside a long time ago. You can throw them whatever you want, and as you said they'll just switch to another channel if something do not match their expectation.
So there is twitch.tv a webchat platform that allow you to watch a video and chat with the actor. A great thing, a concept already a decade old, cam website still exist.
Why people are upset? Because twitch now provide a nerfed version of Myfreecam for autist and kids. So basically they provide a grotesque vision of an existing market they 100% don't belong with.
Since there is money exchange btw the provider of the service and the actors of it, this is a business and so rules apply. And if the rules aren't clear for everyone people get upset.
And everyday Twitch staff try enforce rules, that do not match the actual branding of the platform, as a result it's a total mess for everyone, even for the titty streamers.
This company is plagued by some key staff members and/or the lack of professionalism inside their office. In the end the problem is that, not the content.
For example a section call [sexy] (or whatever you want to call it) would have solved the problem a fucking long time ago. Park the whores where they belong and everyone will be happy.
