She hired some guy she thought was in his 20's to manage her accounts (social) and she lied to him about something. Dude ends up being teenager and deletes all of the accounts and tells her to fuck off. The FBI is apparently being contacted about this retarded shit.

TLDR: Stupid idiot trusts random person on internet to manage her livelyhood and gets fucked in the process.

Never seen that second Twitch UI posted and I use Chrome without mods. Strange.

Ninja explains his choice not to stream with female gamers

So Polygon takes a quote from Ninja, turns it into clickbait, and the brainless SJW masses are crying for blood. Basically he stated he doesn't play with female streamers online because of how the Twitch/internet community is (ie, rumors and drama about X cheating with Y) and does it for sake of protecting wife/family.

A good chunk of levelheaded internet personalities/streamers have defended how Ninja has chosen to handle the matter, including streamers that typically would be considered pretty accepting/inclusive on social justice issues. I follow Dexbonus and for instance she shared a horror story about when she first began dating her now husband and some of her "fans" started hiring PIs to dig dirt on him, sent her videos of lookalike pornstars trying to say it was him, harassed his parents/siblings, sent threats, etc. I don't blame Ninja at all for trying to maintain a low-drama environment, although he didn't help matters by feeding that info to a website that hungers for soundbites and clickbait. Yes he is a big figure, but idiots thinking he can "fix" toxic shits on Twitch is a pipe dream.

I wish Twitch had a "favourites" area at the top, like Steam. Once you have followed a good chunk of people there are some you love to watch and others when nothing good is on. Would be good to have them always at the top regardless of view count.

They are programming you to accept quantity over quality much like the rest of your life where they ingrain the idea that you should go with the populist option and not look for something better.

This is also how Fortnite continues to exist.

Follow them and they'll always be on the left sidebar? lol not really sure why you would need more than that unless you follow every stream you've laid your eyes on

He has a fair point. There are people you watch, and then people you watch when more enjoyable streamers aren't on. Sometimes the two don't correlate number wise for everyone and the shitty streamer gets more views, making it harder to find the good streamer. What games they play is also relevant

This. And the follow helps the streamer and costs you literally nothing.

You can follow a game and if you hit follow they'll show up and you can click and see all the streamers for that game.

Anyone else getting random followers when your not online? Been streaming very casually the past month, but i'm nowhere near growing my channel. I was taking it all in stride until I clicked a few profiles and saw some sweet boob cleave. Immediate red flag, reminds me of all the scammer spam on PSN last year (nice try, b00bz4u69 and kleen_vag_gamer!).

I've probably followed about 80-90 people on Twitch. All of them are interesting enough on their own, or play games I enjoy watching, but of those 80-90, there are maybe 5-6 I really, really enjoy and would watch above all else. Of those, only one hits the 1000+ viewing count regularly, the others are lucky to break the low 100s, and usually have the high tens making them very low on the list in spite of them being awesome.

Being able to select who is at the top helps me know when they are streaming as I don't always click on "show more".

I got banned from a channel because I tuned in during a weekly speedrun race, watched for a bit but the streamer wasn't talking and no chat so I asked if he was in autistic mode for the race. Streamer flipped out "not everyone has seen GitS and that it is super insensitive you can't use that word!" Knew exactly what it meant but PC and language police REEEEEEEEEEE.

I expect that from the kiddie shooter gamers, but even the older nerds are tainted too it seems.
