I saw that drama around now Pokimane and no makeup. I don’t get it I would still her a colonoscopy with my gentleman’s sword and feed her a spoonful of throat yogurt. People are picky.

I mean, Pokimane's still bangable without makeup. It's just she's nothing special. *shrug* I dunno.

She makes more than porn stars

I didn't say it was for her benefit.

Starting to see cases built for two mobos now, with a mini-itx being mounted at the top, wth the idea of having both a game PC & streaming PC in the same case. Kids wanting to be the next big streamer and PC masterrace stuff has really pushed hardware into some new an interesting places.

Anita still holding strong at 10k. She is by far the most popular female streamer on Twitch. I'm surprised her viewer count hasn't started to taper off yet since the curiosity about her has to be wearing off.

I kinda stopped watching her now, the ticks don't annoy me or anything, but she answers the exact same questions probably 100+ times in a stream.
Once she makes a FAQ and stops answering them over and over i'll go back to watching her lol

Still waiting for the day when legitimate actors start using Twitch to make variety and sketch comedy shows. Unless this is already a thing and I'm just totally oblivious. It surprises me that we haven't seen any recognizable names jump into the twitch game yet unless there is some unspoken rule that if you create a twitch channel and put out your own content you'll be blacklisted in Hollywood.

Porn stars aren’t legitimate???

There are a couple actors and actresses that have some following there, but it is still mostly them playing games or doing art stuff or just chatting.

The critical role thing is kind of like this. But that’s all voice actors. There have been people like Post Malone and Terry Crews who have streamed some. Really though I think most people with acting careers don’t sit around playing video games 10 hours a day. I am sure there is potential there though.

That's what I'm saying though. There are already quite a lot of twitch channels that have nothing to do with video games. There's Rifftrax, there's cooking shows, it is honestly turning into bonafide internet TV. Twitch has become what I think many people envisioned YouTube would eventually become.

Khane Khane has a point. A b-list celebrity could probably get some traction if they just did a IRL stream every other day or something. Some outside streams around Hollywood, or shopping. Just hanging out in their celebrity crib. Random visits from other celebs.

Yeah, really successful ones with an active list of projects wouldn't be able to, but the lower tier ones that are trying to land roles would have a bit of time and could benefit from some exposure

I'm surprised more of the Z-list celebrities haven't started streaming on there. Andy Milonakis is the only one that does and I find him annoying as fuck. There was Andy Dick thought, but he went on and out in a blaze of glory doing lines of coke on stream which got him permbanned.

[H]ardOCP: Twitch Announces Multiple Exciting Features for Live- Streams at TwitchCon 2018

At TwitchCon 2018, Twitch announced several new features to make live-streaming more exciting for the audience. In turn it is expected that these new features will generate more traffic and revenue for streamers. The first feature called Squad Stream will allow up to 4 streamers to stream together in a single view that will be seen by viewers when they enter any of the 4 streamer's channels. The channel that the viewer chooses to highlight is the chat that the viewer will see and participate in. A simple click will allow trolls to hop channels seamlessly.

Streamers will finally be able to give viewers that they appreciate VIP status which means that they will have all of the basic perks of a subscription to the channel. Streamers will also be able to give users roles such as editor, moderator, etc from the dashboard. Subscribers will be able to show their total number of months that they have subbed to a channel. Some Snapchat features have been integrated into Twitch. A new bounty board of sponsored opportunities will be available to streamers in November. Last of all, Twitch Sings is coming to the platform. This will allow streamers and viewers to collaborate on a karaoke like experience and request music.
