To answer your question, no. Never getting back together. Like ever. This thread is a very small slice of everything he's done and put me through. Leaving him was the best decision of my life, and as mentioned it's too bad there are kids involved and tyen shoves them in the middle of our conflicts. Today he told me he was happy that he ruined Mother's Day for me. Nice guy, eh? Pretty much sums up all the emotional support I got from him.
He doesn't even keep up on shit, or just doesn't listen. I'm on Antabuse, can't even use hand sanitizer on my hands or ingest anything with vinegar or I will get deadly ill within about 10 minutes. Even if I decided to stop taking it, I would have to wait 14 days to have a drink. I'm done drinking.

If your love for your kids matched your ego, they'd have the best dad in the world. I have a feeling that's not the case, however. They aren't props for your story, or there to try and take cheap shots at their mom. And however much you hate her, she is still their mom. She may be shitty and flawed and an addict, but as long as she's part of their life, she's still their mom. Try and treat her like that. It has nothing to do with her, and everything to do with you.
