its already been renewed for season 4, every show always says "final 2 episodes" for their season finales, its only if the show is actually ending do they say "watch the shows final 2 episodes, ever!" and shit like that

All the other shows I am watching like TURN have said "of the season" on the final episodes tag which is why I was curious. Veep is the show both my girlfriend and I love. We watch other stuff together but this is the one we truly enjoy watching together so it would be sad to see it go. Thanks for the answer, it sets my mind at ease

"Yeah, it's terrible PR. You might as well drive a suicide clown car into the fuckin' Lincoln Memorial".

My congratulations to whoever wrote that.

Story seemed a little rushed to me, that being said...

Kevin Dunn as the Chief of Staff is becoming a fantastic character.

I still enjoyed them but not the quality of the rest of the season. Feels like they were rushed to tell the story and the story is not the show's strong point

I don't see the advantage of advancing the VP to Prez....the storylines will suffer from this I believe.

VP had more room to be sarcastic and underhanded, I hope they aren't "Jumping the Shark"

Next they will bring in cousin Oliver.

She'll become President but the show is going to be much less about Selina and much more about everyone else. They can pull that off I think.

Friend suggest that she becomes the Prez, but they hand off the show to a new VP and keep her VP staff on the show. I think it'd work, but JLD is way too hot right now and if Selena and Gary are tied together and Gary is also an awesome character.

Honestly if they got a strong improver they could easily keep everyone else. Though I do like Mike as press secretary.

Just finished season one and there was a couple of times I lost my shit and laughed for a bit. That hasn't happened from a show in a LONG time. The drama or issues that the show throws at the cast seems a bit forced / meh but non-the-less its a good watch. I sure hope season 2 and 3 keeps it up.

I think I have out grown comedies. I haven't enjoyed a sit-com since Seinfeld or Friends and yet I love this show. I would say at least once every 30 minutes I laugh a real laugh. Not a chuckle or haha but a real laugh.

Most sitcoms aren't very funny. I'm looking at you, Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men.

But yeah, I laughed HARD at Veep. Really looking forward to the next season.

I suggest you look at New Girl if you haven't. It's not quite as funny as Veep, but I've been pleasantly surprised. Just try to ignore Zoe Deschanel, because she kind of brings it down a bit. But Nick and Schmidt are comedy gold as characters.

or..of course...The Thick of it. (Might as well see what Veep should have been)

Edit: classic (sorry had too)
