Kat Dennings is now in it and she was fucking terrible. Probably part of the reason this episode seemed so bad.

Modern Family is also an atrocious show and the spoof (or whatever you want to call it) was poorly done. There wasn't anything comedic and even Olsen's acting seemed bad.

In fact, the more I think about this episode, the worse I think it is. Even little details like the 2nd group of SWORD people that give her the outer space vehicle. Like, it's been a whopping 12 hours maybe? "Oh, here's the super difficult thing you wanted us to procure for you just a few hours ago!"

Episodes 4-6 were pretty good. You know, when they actually moved the plot forward.

This one just didn't work. At all. It's trying too hard sometimes. I mean shit, the actual title of the episode was "Breaking the Fourth Wall." Like their entire goal was just to be meta. Another example is Vision mentioning how Wanda was putting impediments in place to prevent him from coming back (why?). And so we get extended sequences with Kat Dennings in a van sitting at a stoplight for...reasons? I guess she can't just drive around them?

Anyway, watching this for the same reason I watched Game of Thrones til the end though. I'm invested.

invested in this show or the MCU? because there is maybe 3 hours of show content in here so far, you can bail and just wait for the next Marvel movie which will no doubt exposition this show anyway. outside of the stupid chick with fat titties and the hacky sitcom stuff. its a fine tv show. i like it alright. Scarlet has a nice little ass and i like Paul Bettany the most. even the jewnose chick is hamming it up very well.

Fair enough. I've definitely finished seasons of shows I'd have been better off not doing so with. I don't think this show is particularly amazing, but I do like that it's trying some different stuff instead of just being the same shit as everything else.

Very disappointed Kat didn't get cast as a waitress in WandaVision. I mean, I get it that they wanted the whole encampment to become a traveling circus. But there was a point where she was talking about wanting to be in the show and she could have said she saw herself as a snarky waitress. You're doing these homages to sitcoms and you can't give a nod to successful sitcoms your actors were on? It's a missed opportunity. I mean it's only 3 total isn't it, including Elizabeth's association with Full House?

fat titty girl is still in the "Hex" with 2 more episodes to go. maybe there will be a payoff. even Mall Rats has a scene where the fat dude calls the chick from 90210 Brenda.

I thought it was the worst episode by far. And the whole space vehicle thing was just completely retarded. It looked stupid, the scene was stupid, etc.

and goddamit, entitled millenial bitch survived the hex passing over her. She continued to shit up every single scene shes in. I'm convinced some of you just arent noticing, they are deliberately writing her to make her hated. The tone of the show changes in her scenes. They switch to a different writer. The lighting changes. The background music changes. Or SOMETHING. Because fuck, the second she waddles on screen (don't ask me how she waddles when she's barely chubby, but somehow she manages to fucking waddle) its a different, unwatchable show, like its fucking legends of tomorrow or agents of shield or some shit.

Then they switch scenes and it goes back to a pretty good Marvel show. On par with DD or Punisher, even S1 Jessica Jones.

I'm still tuning in the day it airs. Vision and Wanda continue to be fun to watch, I always preferred this Quicksilver over the AOU Quicksilver, and theyre doing a pretty good job of slowly revealing whats going on.

I will say, if the actor playing Vision wasnt in this, i would have probably noped out by now. He's so good he looks odd without the makeup.

Paul Bettany is great in pretty much everything he does. I hope the last two episodes are A+ cause as a whole this show would be a low B or high C if you average all the episodes.

Wasn’t there something about how Hollywood has kind of pushed Bettany to the side? I’ve enjoyed everything he’s done too but I read the only work he could get was as Jarvis and that was them throwing him a bone.

He has told the story of being in a Producers office and the dude told him he was done in the biz, He went outside and his knees collapsed as he was so shook up and sat right down on the sidewalk. As he was sitting there Joss Whedon called and asked him if he wanted to be Vision, he said yes turned around and flipped the bird.
