This guy. I'm surprised he didn't include moon distance and tidal pull information in that interview.

Why are news anchors always such morons. Saw some ass clown reporter up in Tampa trying to give examples of how bad it is by watching a banner barely move in the breeze. Meanwhile this duplicitous cunt is like oh shit wind and rain we gonna die. I hope he drowns in 2 inches of water with someone's boot on the back of his neck.

The storm has wind and there is some shit still coming, show that instead of some plam trees blowing while it sprinkles out you pieces of shit.

Pretty much outside of back surge possibility in Naples, Irmas watch has ended. Already down to 110 mph last update and will only get less and less. Just going to be a bad storm from here on out with lots of wind and rain and rough seas. It may push a few feet here and there.

Boy they talked this up for what seems to be relatively small results. Sure, there is absolutely damage, but it isn't Armageddon as predicted. CNN still acting like it is.

Putting together a list of shit for when we are allowed to return.

Beer
Canned food
Water/Gatorade

Going to buy a chain saw and a bunch of deck screws (brought my dewalt tools with me) so we can get down there and start helping people get their shit ( and possibly mine) habitable.

Sort of uncertain as what else would be handy besides essentials, tools and gas but I have the boat in tow for a decent amount of storage. Taking suggestions.
Some packages of socks/underwear? paper plates utensils? extra trash bags?

I'm only concerned about the surge in cape coral. I've not seen it talked about on the news except for one phone call with the mayor. The city has both river and gulf plus 400 miles of canals. I feel like we'll be fine though. My guy says no way this shit is 10 feet

We are like 30 to 50 miles north of Naples i believe

I wonder what they have outside of the door to help it seal off the water that well? That's a pretty great product.

Supposedly going to start seeing the first effects of the extreme outer bands tonight.

Here's the first glass of frozen hurricanes to you, boy's in Florida. Hope you wake up with a roof over your head.
