People in tornado alley and hurricane-prone areas should get treated with the same amount of apathy then. Oh wait a lot of those people are Trump voters.

Although coincidentally the wildfires always affect the CA Trump voters most. Land mass-wise, CA is extremely red. Just the population centers outweigh them.
Yeah well Florida builds a power grid and houses to handle it's hurricanes. Maybe pick some dry kindling up.

Retards don't practice due diligence for brush clearing in a dry fire prone area

Guys, I put this through my BS scanner, highest setting. It's clean. That is a 100% true statement.

Of course, give me one example where retards do practice diligence. But that does not moot my judgment here. Shit's true.

i live in kansas where they made a fucking movie about tornados, i have a basement and insurance, not much more to do beyond that.

if the kansas gov told me, "hey go burn this fucking kindling on your property and tornados won't come"

The forecast I saw earlier had both storms hitting as a lvl 1 hurricane. Looked like one was going to the east side of Baton Rouge and the other the west side. Gonna be a lot of rain. Hopefully not as much as the 2016 flood, 30" of rain in 48 hours.

Friend flooded bad in 2016 and they just closed on the sale of their house two weeks ago and moved to GA for her job. Good timing.

Meanwhile California has invested tons into solar and wind, and we had rolling blackouts last week. So much for that super awesome "green" energy?

This is a nothing burger. Who wants to put some latinum in on it?
If the floods from it kill more than 3 people, it will be deadlier than Covid in the area and thus a serious country ending disaster.
This is 2020, don't you have any humanity faggot?

Laura was the only one that was ever going to amount to anything but the track dipped so far south that is basically started at child lovers isle, through the ricans and in the middle of cigarville for a 1000 miles of mud keeping it weak. I'm shocked it'll even regain to a 1 or 2 cat after all that. It's more about the timing of it. I don't recall ever seeing 2 hurricanes even if weak ones hitting the same area near the same time. That is impressive dice rolls. Not every 20 is a instant kill. Sometimes it is just a cool effect. It looks as if Laura will shred the moisture from Marco before it does any real flooding.

I think that's the thing people aren't considering, their is no way these storms don't interact in a way that is bad for at least one of them

They pushed Marco back to a C1 and Laura now a C2 at landfall~ 36 hours apart on making land. Pretty amazing since they are working against each other and the land Laura is traveling over. I'd be shocked if that holds up but we'll see. We've seen C2 hurricanes forecast weakening then jump to C5 in just a day before.

A lot can be done to prevent the massive fires. Nothing can be done to prevent weather.
