Yeah the snow/slush line goes further north the further east it goes. Last I saw its right around the barrier islands south of long Island. I would rather have 12" of snow than 4" of ice when I wake up.

In the mountainous area of North-East Pennsylvania. Already have 6 inches on the ground, calling for another 12-18 inches before the storm is over. Outliers could be as high as 20-22 more inches, with 35mph wind gusts.

Up over a foot, hard to tell with all of the drifting. Some of the drifts are closer to 16-17 inches already. But the shallows are closer to 12".

Very mild snow here, but the ground wasn't frozen. It hit the roads, then the weather turned super cold, and now we have an inch of ice on all our streets. Driving home after hockey tonight was just terribad. I don't have any idea what tomorrow morning will look like.

We got the shitty version here on LI. 3 inches of snow before the snow/sleet line passed over. Turned it all to rain and then round 2 of the snow came. We have 4 inches of snow on top of 2 inches of ice. Gonna be baller today on the roads.

I'm guessing those of us that wait until the last minute to buy Christmas gifts are going to get fucked this year. USPS was basically in collapse already and I'm sure a bunch of snow on the east coast won't help. The last 3-day priority mail package I got took 14 days to arrive.

i see footage like that and i know some dude from Minnesota or Canada is just laughing their asses off at those east coast people unable to deal with a few inches of snow. i agree its pretty sad, but in defense, the first big snow of the season is the hardest because people take a crash course (pun intended) in getting used to snowy weather again. the real biggie isnt the snow. its the fucking ice thats hidden inside. driving through snow is nothing. if you hit a patch of ice when trying to stop from 30mph. it can make you lose a few years off your life.

Ended up with 20+ inches. I would say 27 in the side field, but it is hard to tell with all of the wind and drifting. Parts of the front yard only had 15-16 inches, others were drifts over three feet. Spent the last eight hours digging out, but all done now.
