didn't go out sat or sun, they only plowed the main roads yesterday, didn't plow my road, which is a primary until 10am today. cleaned the steps, about 2-3 inches of snow on top of 3/4" to 1/2" of ice, but oddly the walk didn't have any ice. this morning they said it was going to be 30's today, but at 1pm it is 19 and new update says will get to 22.

Not much going to make it to the DC region. In a surprise we learned there are 2 distinct rabbits sheltering in our backyard after Monday's storm. Resident shed bunny plus another that probably took cover under our deck; both were out and visibly eating the uncovered lawn at dusk.

i now very much appreciate living in a home w/ no sidewalk, don't have to shovel snow or shit, if amazon falls over delivering my stuff, thats their own damn fault, so don't even have to shovel my entry way, and i have a subbee so don't have to shovel my driveway neither.
i already taught both my neighbors to keep 2 pieces of cardboard in their trunk, it takes up zero space, 1 neighbor used to live in brentwood, which is now burning and is so happy

If you are Southeast or anywhere up the east coast you may want to stock up now. Massive cold dip near DC but it pushes the majority of the precipitation to the south and offshore. Any precip next week from the Carolinas northward will be snow that turns into blocks of ice.

Take solace in this. I have family driving back up north. Its supposed to be -2 the day after they arrive. They would kill to stay and experience our 29 we get in a couple of days.
