It certainly is a lot easier to be motivated to wake up early and hit the gym when it's nice and warm. This past week or so has been especially brutal with the super cold temperatures and snow; I've really had to force myself to trudge out of the house.Waiting on it to warm up to freezing so I can walk to the gym. First world problems.
Well that's just baffling now. I said before that I assumed your calories were so low due to them just subtracting out calories due to activity. But a change of 600 calories is 4200 a week, giving you an extra pound every 5th week. I have a feeling their caloric recommendations are based on some absurd algorithm that is way too complicated.EDIT: I changed my MFP preferences from 2lbs to 1lb a week and changed from sedentary to lightly active and the suggested daily calorie intake shot all the way up to 2040 from 1320.
No no, I'm just a run of the mill fatty all year round.McCheese confirmed resolutioner
It's even more than that. It's a 720 calorie difference, more than 50% extra a day. Makes no sense at all.Well that's just baffling now. Reading comprehension ftl. And I wasn't mathing right even with my shit reading comprehension.Uh, how do those changes not make sense?
Extra pound a week in calories is 3500 / 7 = 500 calories/day. He upped his activity from sedentary to slightly active, and that's the other 220/day.
An extra 220 calories a day going from "works with computers" to "teacher". That's exactly the wording they use. Seems ridiculous.Uh, how do those changes not make sense?

I don't know, that doesn't seem so far fetched. I work at a desk all day and teach for about 3 hours each night. I'm lucky to take a total of 50 steps throughout my entire office day, but during teaching there isn't a single minute where I'm sitting, and rarely am I even standing still. If I'm not standing at the board writing (and moving back and forth), I'm walking around the classroom and checking on what my students are doing. It's not uncommon for me to be sweating like Chris Farley by the end of a single, 3 hour lesson. Then again, I'm a fat fuck so your results may vary.An extra 220 calories a day going from "works with computers" to "teacher". That's exactly the wording they use. Seems ridiculous.
lmfao, I would +net you so hard right now.You should flopcrush a table.
Stay out of the power racks? That's the best place to do curls, bro!I'm not looking forward to what I'm about to have to go through in 2 hours because of resolutioners. Atleast they stay out of the power racks, but fuck. Atleast there is potential for new hotties.
It depends on your gym. University gyms and 24 hour gyms (with cheap monthly fees, or month to month) get swarmed. And it's the first Monday, so that's why now is the busiest it'll be. Can't start changing your life on a Wednesday.I thought you guys were exaggerating, holy shit there were a lot of new people there.
