All inclusive week vacation at the Hard Rock in Riviera Maya.

Bets on how much weight I can gain?
Lol, my average at all inclusives is between 4-6 lbs. I am a total slob when there though and never set foot inside the gym (though I do swim a fair bit). The effing squishy drinks man... they are killer!

All I can imagine is some dude leaving and coming back to work 30 pounds heavier, that's insane. Like The Santa Clause with Tim Allen.

That is... impressive! What were you eating/drinking? Two-fisting Haagen Daz?

That seriously must have been a month to remember!
I had been living and working in bumfuck Kazakhstan for over a year, and I decided to take a 3 week vacation back in the States. In the States I basically spent the entire 3 weeks lounging around and eating all the food I missed so much from being overseas: pizza rolls, pizza hut, Doritos, steak and cheese subs, 5 Guys hamburgers and fries, etc. I literally ate almost nothing but junk food for 3 - 5 meals a day for a full 3 weeks. I went through at least 4, 90-count bags of pizza rolls, for example.

I left Kazakhstan at 185 and returned at 215.

You are my god damn hero, McCheese. Just don't let that shit catch up to you, it's sneaky. By what you've posted, I don't think it will though.

I gained 10 lbs in Myrtle beach in 5 days... Shit's doable... wouldn't recommend, took me just over 2 weeks to get back to pre-vacation weight. Speaking of which I'm now at 195.

The heavier you are the easier it is to gain/lose huge increments. I've swung 15lbs in a week both ways, easy. I'm usually 245 lbs. A lot of that shit can be water retention too.

how do you adjust your meal plans if you are working 12 hours a day with nothing but fast food and chinese near your work after you are done.

Prepare or even cook meals ahead of time. Lots of meals you can make, freeze, and reheat or cook in a programmable slow cooker while you're at work.

Does your work not have a freezer? Some low calorie frozen entrees can actually be pretty good. Cooking your own and bringing in leftovers is a good idea too. The worst part for me is that I get bored on my breaks at work and that tends to make me want to snack... it's hard to resist that temptation.

I've weighed 210-215 (6'3) for like the past ten years. I weighed quite a bit more when I was a young teenager. I did go up to 225 once a few years ago, mainly due to depression beer drinking and not being as active as usual. I always felt the absolute key to weight loss is being hardcore about portion control and not snacking on shit (seriously, snacking is bad) and being somewhat active. The majority of the exercise I get is 10 miles of cycling on my work commute, 5 days a week. With some mountain biking here and there for good measure and 5k runs at least twice a week. Also a bit of swimming. Just gotta make it routine.

I eat relatively healthy, and I am a big fan of cooking Vietnamese food (super simple ingredients, very very healthy and always delicious). Most things are really easy to make too. But you'll probably need to develop a liking for Fish Sauce.
