I squat my first plate today. I'm pretty happy about that. I'm now aiming at 150 pounds (just slightly above m body weight)
Careful man, those are really high calorie. Substantially more than just eating cheese per oz. And I'm going to guess cheese is more satiating...Discovered pork rinds are carb free. My quality of life on a Keto diet just got way better! Damn was I craving me some crunchy chip like something.
Protein provides satiation, fat has no effect, carbs increase hunger.Careful man, those are really high calorie. Substantially more than just eating cheese per oz. And I'm going to guess cheese is more satiating...
Not really related but the past I checked out some keto blogs ran by fat people and one guy stood out to me for swearing up and down how awesome keto is, but he hadn't actually lost any weight in years and was eating like a quarter cup of plain butter at breakfast. Keto people get weird sometimes...
Yeah, 4 lbs in a week is a lot bro, you aren't on a game show. No need to lose 10+ lbs a week. I always tell the wife and say to myself, you didn't put on this weight in a week, you aren't going to lose it all in a week.Well first week of eating right, new meds, and exercising and I lost 4 pounds. I'm not doing keto or anything, just eating a lot of salads with chicken for meals (or brown rice, my old tried and tested diet) and more vegetables. Cut out energy drinks and late night snacks. While 4 isn't a great amount, for me it feels really good.
Been in a bad way for a long time. Doctor scared me enough that I'm gonna stick to it.
Ideally I'd like to hit 185 or 190,but I'm also going to start weight lifting so that goal will shift upwards too.
You misspelled "black beans"It's probably just water you nerds. Shut up. Cutting carbs and exercising will drop a lot of fluff weight.
P.S. Brown rice is shit, eat white rice.
They are also just more for the weight. A handful of pork rinds is like 80 calories. A handful of cheese, much more I imagine. Weight alone is deceptive. They (pork rinds) aren't substantially more calories, though they are more. 154 calories per oz for standard pork rinds vs 113 calories per ounce for cheddar cheese for instance. And the pork rinds have substantially more protein.
