And here I was thinking there was a possibility that William ends up getting to the "end" of the story and disappears inside the world forever.

Logan heads back and for 30 years tries to figure out the "maze" so that he can do it too (or find out where William went).

But I'm back to the MiB being William again after reading the latest responses.

The movie/story this is based on had a few other robot theme parks if I recall correctly, like Medieval World and Future World or some shit?

Would be crazy as hell if Ford's new narrative is one of those parks, something totally different, and the second season is a massive tonal shift with the same bots playing new roles in an entirely differently themed park.

Guessing there is no way that happens but it definitely would be intense. And more swords for HBO right around when GoT will be disappearing forever.

I've read this from the original (which I have not gone through). So, we've got 5 seasons. I gotta imagine this shit is going to come into play. We're gonna learn this is off world, it's like the year 3402 or some crazy ass shit (unless i'm retard and the real year is already known somehow?) and this is all levels of game withing a game, all the day down. Or..... aliens. One way or another they're gonna go for mindfucks.

That was because of the reverie update. The update was causing all sorts of problems, including her dad being able to see the picture.

which also brings up this picture that Ford showed Bernard, who assumed it was Arnold on Ford's side - it wasn't, it was his dad (who he replicated in the cabin). There is enough room in the picture though for a THIRD person next to Ford-Dad, which may have been the original Arnold. Who Bernard couldn't see because... he looks exactly like Bernard. Which means the Dolores/Bernard scenes are flashbacks to the original Arnold.

However this ends, I hope it's "The Usual Suspects" level of awesome. Even if William doesn't wind up being the MIB, I hope it's something out of left field that no one saw coming. That would make it even sweeter. I really want this show to have the greatest plot twist in television history. Please, just don't end like "Lost" or "The Dark Tower."

You guys have a bunch of cute theories but I figured it out. Should have a lot sooner since it's right there in the opening credits...

Arnold is in the player piano.

It's not a piano playing olde-timey music, it's Arnold playing CONTEMPORARY music from his time, but he's been stuck in there for 30 years since the accident that 'killed' him!!

Amod if you could give me a colored title for figuring it out like that guy did with Breaking Bad please and thank you.

There isn't going to be some meta park. Like the season finale will end with Hopkins fighting with the board, and all of sudden they all halt.

Then in comes super board members after playing out a 2nd tier of consciousness on everyone who works in the park. It's the fucking Truman show.

I'm betting the whole "Medieval World" and "Roman World" counterparts from the old story are what the current story's board of investors are working towards.

They see the park as a money making machine and want to expand it, make more parks, etc. Given the current state of mind of Ford, it just doesn't feel like additional parks would really be something he'd actually want to do on his own, at least not yet.

Hence why the Board is so angry about the recent revelry changes affecting the behavior of the hosts. Dangerous hosts mean new parks could be a liability, which means no Christmas bonus.

I don't think it's about money from the parks at all. I think it's about making robots that replace politicians or armies or something bigger than just money.

Im still betting Delos wants it for Military related functions, they said they dont care about people getting their rocks off with robots but are interested in other applications. i doubt that means more parks.

Subscribing to the theory that Bernard is robo-Arnold, makes the Dolores flashbacks make more sense since they are talking about her "awakening" in those scenes.
