lol coworker just got back from vacation there and took that route as a why not, lol they did not enjoy it
Yeah, it’s not a road most people should drive. We saw a god damn 25 foot motor home pulling a full size 1/2 ton pickup on the Tail. Just mental.lol coworker just got back from vacation there and took that route as a why not, lol they did not enjoy it
I cannot be sure, but it is a most likely - that I road that passage as a kid, in a big ol 1980's giant RWD car. I just remember looking out the window and it was just, road ends like 1ft away, and down the mountain side. Dad and Mom where like "Ohh look at the little waterfall!" every so often on the side of the road. My Dad grew up in Cherokee, and this was our vacation where we went there and many other places in that region.Yeah, it’s not a road most people should drive. Yea, the truck is so big that it feels like it must be like parking a dually but I've never pulled up the specs on it to see how it compares to a Raptor or a 3500 dually or whatever. If you go to Costco only its probably fine but good luck in most shitty parking lots.Saw 4 on a trailer the other day a few minutes before almost getting creamed by a deer roaming around at 10am on the highway in the rain.
I'd almost make bad choices to get one, but they are going for extra lol markups over even other marked up stuff.

4 day Tail of the Dragon (and surrounding roads) trip. Magical place if you like to drive/ride

I'd drive it, I just can't afford a Porsche. Maybe a 944 or 914Rubystone brother. It’s actually even better in person. Not that I’m brave enough to drive that color, lol
A 914-6 is actually a great car.I'd drive it, I just can't afford a Porsche. Maybe a 944 or 914
I'm considering getting a Rivian as a daily driver. I recently came into procession of a small solar array, and with all the research I've done it looks like I could actually power the car with just solar. I'm not talking about longer trips and such, but day to day if I plug it in overnight it will always be ready to go in the morning. I like the look of them, and I drove one today. Surprisingly peppy, and the handling is outstanding. Comfortable, too.
What do you guys think?
