Warranty was about to expire on my GTi so I traded it in on a Fiesta ST, I'll post some pics once I pick it up.

Cool let me know how you like it. I want a Fiesta RS go-kart if they ever make one. Focus RS doesn't do much for me at the weight/price point it's just a Ford STI.

Except better in every way (coming from someone who's owned 3 turbo Subarus). But, a hotter Fiesta would also be really awesome. Might not even need FWD if they dial it in.

Traded in 08 R32, got a 2015 6k miles Tundra Double cab. (Wanted to keep reasonable bed size) Just did a 640 mile round wedding/honeymoon trip. Little paranoid the very few miles it had while not hotrodded were done towing a ton. (Had an aftermarket trailer brake controller, hoping it was most was used to tow a couple times and deemed lacking over a true HD truck)

So other than douching it up with wheels, and they owe me a spray in bed liner. Ideas on what to do? Tint only if it actually cuts down on heat inside, does clear bra cover the grill too? It sure seems to be a bug magnet or just that's mountain driving I guess. Past that think I'm mostly happy as is. Down the road might want to do something with the exhaust and some other minorly invasive stuff under the hood.

Don't you want to raise it instead? I see mexicans all over with the lowered trucks. The white guys around here are all raised.

Here's the only shot I got so far, busy ass weekend is keeping me from getting some good shots. So far I love the damn thing, it actually feels like I'm driving a car now where as the GTi felt like it drove itself. It really reminds me of the SRT4 I had back in the day, plenty of pep and the mods seem dirt cheap.
I'm going to pick up a intake and Cobb Stage 1 tune, then eventually a downpipe, wheels and springs/coils.

Most surprising to me was that the car reads your text messages to you, that's pretty fucking cool. The stupidest feature is if you get a low tire pressure warning (Which I did), you cannot clear it or reset it. It will not fucking go away and the only way to clear it is take it to the dealership EVER FUCKING TIME IT HAPPENS.

Spent all day yesterday pulling off the god damn front plate bracket and badges off the rear, dealerships aren't getting any free advertising out of me.

Uh you sure? My 2015 Ford won't let you clear it but it does go away after you roll a few miles on proper pressure.

I've aired them up to the spec according the the b pillar sticker and it keeps saying low tire pressure, it's absolutely retarded I can't change the pressure at will anyways.

Lots of people complain about having to take it to a dealer to fix those TPMS issues. I put a little piece of electrical tape on mine to cover the warning up lol. A tip from the dealer. I figure if I can't tell my 33" tall tires on my truck are low I deserve to die. I kind of see it on low profile tires but on these it's a joke.

I air mine up and down pretty often depending on the terrain. It's only a matter of time before they disable the engine if it shows low. Lots of people put 4 of them in a pipe and pressurize it to get by it all together and keep it under a seat or whatever, assuming they will reach the 4 sensors that pick it up.

You should have made the dealer take it off. They won't give you any pushback. The last three cars I haveboughtnew, the first thing I pointed at on the preinspection was their little logo and told them to take it off.

It's more complicated than that, evidently, but 2 minutes with google and now even I know how to reset the fiesta tpms warning light.

Supposedly it comes on a big card that they give you when you buy the car starting with the 2014 models, because... well.... if you follow the link, it's not exactly "obvious"
Fiesta ST TPMS reset/relearn procedures | The Fiesta ST Network Forum

I also googled the reset tool, I guess it'd be about 50 dollars on ebay. So that would be required every single time you swapped out a winter set for a summer set... bummer. Just rotating the tires seems pretty easy, hope you live in a place with a mild winter.

edit: Colorado... you're fucked... just buy the tool.
edit2: Nevermind, texas, you're good... Just buy one set of all season tires... Hell you can even survive on Summer tires as long as you avoid driving the 1 day a year it snows. (because you will crash your car driving on summer tires in the snow)

Yeah, I saw that but that's ridiculous just to reset them. I don't understand there isn't just a button like most cars.

I've got a Land Rover LR4 and air down for off-roading in the desert. Ended up buying a tool that I can plug into the OBD port that allows me to disable TPMS entirely. As Borzak said, if you can't tell you have a flat on big truck tires you deserve to die. Unfortunately TMPS is mandated to be standard on all vehicles by the NHTSA since 2007.

I'm betting with the amount of time they spent setting up the code to look for all that shit to reset it, they could have just installed a damn button.

I'm assuming something is wrong with my sensors, which I'm sure won't be cheap. I hate that light on my dash.

I think they wanted $100/each on my Chevy truck. They've all run out of batteries now.

Wow, they actually have batteries in them? I've never had a problem, I just figured it was some kind of RFID tag or something that counted revolutions.
