guess 50% my fault for not checking myself, got a letter from insurance today saying they were denying coverage for my mri on my back. doctor ordered it on nov 1 and it was scheduled and done on nov 19th. insurance says they didn't get the request until nov14th and denied it on nov27th. (when the letter was dated). every time before this, the hospital has called me to tell me they had not approved it yet and i would be responsible, but not this time. i was thinking with my xray results showing bad disks and shit, it wouldn't be an issue getting it approved. called the insurance, they said, my doctor didn't send them anything, no reports, no xrays results etc.
guess i have to go by doctor office tomorrow.

call billing, get transferred 3 times. after 30 mins, talk to someone that understands the problem, she then transfer me to the chick that handled my case. who takes my name and birth date, puts me on hold, then hangs up.

So I want to check out the new Indy game , but $70 for a game I may or may not like seems stupid so I think "I'll just resub to Xbox'. Well new PC so all that crap isn't set up on this , fair enough. called today, talked to a different chick, "gave all the info to the supervisor, they will call you back today or tomorrow"
what i gather from just bits the different chicks have said, there is no easy way to just send the info to insurance after the fact.
unrelated to this, insurance sent me a letter today.
"our records show your pcp as dr jones, but you recently saw dr smith. we have now assigned dr smith as your new pcp."
dr smith isn't a doc, but a np in urology.
at least they are not trying to cheap out, those urology visits cost like 4x family practice ones.

Today is my Wife’s birthday.
Present I ordered for her a month ago is not here…
…because Canada Post is on strike.
Several things I ordered for Christmas probably won’t be here.
I have no sympathy for these striking fucks and I hope they shut the whole thing down and just ups and fedex and etc.,.
Mail delivery striking during Christmas? Fuck you you selfish fucks.

Think I wrote on here that my insurance that was taking money was auto denying coverage because they needed a form no one told us about.
From my seizure on 8-25 today I FINALLY got the ER visit sorted out. They kept sending me bills for $1600 , my insurance said it was $891. Paid it today as soon as I got the corrected invoice because I kept calling the local hospital NOT the 800 number on the bills for $1600. Still $891 for a fucking ER visit where they said 'send him to Vegas' is goddamn ridiculous.
