Cast my phone to my shield and it seems my Youtube account caught some aids. The thumbnails are now 3 per row instead of 4-5. Anyone know the setting for this? I can't seem to find it.

For me, the algorithm works like this:

I look up something and watch a video on it, let's say Swedish Penis Pumps. For the next week I will get dozens of recommended videos for those even though I only watched one.

A subscribed channel that I literally watch and like every single video from (hello Police Activity!), I miss a video or two (either through being busy, not paying attention, or them not showing it on my feed) and the algorithm assumes I'm tired of that channel and never shows it to me again.

Random videos that have nothing to do with anything I have ever watched and I have no desire to watch will literally stay on my feed for a week or more until I watch it or click not interested.

No matter what the topic, videos with 100-200 views are promoted CONSTANTLY. Yeah, sometimes those are good, but more often than not there is a reason they have such low views. But YT keeps pushing them for some reason. Maybe because they make ad money just the same as a big creator, but they don't have to pay this scrub a dime.
Thats still your standard suggested front page feed. Im straight missing videos from the specific subscription tab, and stuff missing are ones i don't miss videos at all from. Seems like a random problem a few people have but i havnt seen solutions beyond sone kind of dump of your youtube cache

Welp i gotta fucking move my fence this weekend...

neighbor to my left was an old man who died last summer, the son sold the house eventually.

New owner lets me know he did a survey and where I was told the property line was when I bought the house, isn't actually the property line, the property line actually goes through my fucking drive way. Driveway has always been where it's at as far as I'm aware since the 80s when the house was built. I installed the fence myself when I moved in for my doggos. I check online with the county for all the plat maps and lots etc, and yep, some fucking how the property line is literally in my driveway and my fence is like 20 feet over the line.

I offer him money, to do a lot line adjustment, to buy the strip of land from him (its completely inaccessible to him, all the homes here are separated by woods), no dice.

"He's going to leave the land to his kids and so he doesn't want to lose any of it" Like wtf dude, i'm offering you money for land you can't even fucking access? Like he's going to have to come up my driveway to access this strip of land, to mow the grass here, etc. (i'll probably still mow it of course)

Still no, so now i gotta uproot my fence and redo everything.

Also my driveway is gravel I had scheduled some guys to come out and pave it (first winter shoveling snow, fuck doing that on gravel) but now I had to cancel that and reschedule it until after I move all the gravel and shorten the driveway (more like a turn around/car parking spot)

Pic for reference. Blue is where I was told the property line is (and what would make sense), Red is where the line actually is.

It still works. It automatically disables it so you need to manually turn it back on.

For now anyways.

Woah-- the door opens outwardly? If I were pressurized and in space, I would want it to open inwardly too. Exactly the opposite of what I would want in my deep-sea submersible:

Submarine hatches typically open outward. This design is necessary because the water pressure outside the submarine is greater than the air pressure inside, which helps keep the hatch closed when submerged.

Why WOULD the door open outwardly? That seems unnecessarily risky for even a short space flight..

But what do I know? I must not have enough degrees yet?

Holy shit, I actually tried to read that entire article. What a rambling, jumbled spew of shit. They repeated the same premise over and over and over and over and....you get my point.
Whoever wrote that needs to be fired and then dragged out back and shot.
Fucking idiot, and this is what passes as journalism today?

No, the door opens inward. Looks more like they just wanted footage of Bezos opening the door.

As a side note, doors that open outward on pressurized aircraft are quite common. The pressure differential with the outside is at most 1 bar so nothing that can't be engineered around. It's nothing like the hundreds of bars a diving bell has to deal with.

Ticket only one day into 5 day driving trip =(

I used to do road trips cross country in the 90s. You could ignore random tickets (I think I blew off 5 of them), but now every damn DMV is linked along with EZpass. Owe 50 cents in Delaware tolls or have an unpaid ticket in Sticks, Wisconsin? No registration for you at the CT DMV!

/Havent gotten a ticket since 99 *knocks on wood*

When we moved to NV from Ft Mill SC (SOUTH Carolina) and I went to the DMV to get a new DL , I had to retake the written test because NC (NORTH Carolina and voided my SC drivers license over some bullshit in one of their nothing towns. I called the SC DMV and they said don't worry about it, fucking NC wanted $100 before they would do the same thing. FYI I have zero idea how NC can void a SC drivers license that I'd renewed 3 times since their BS supposedly happened. Also FUCK NC.

* Lady in SC said it was probably a paperwork error it was a work truck and I was listed as the registered driver. Did I mention FUCK NC?

Check out these totally legit EZ pass fees (not mine, but I got a bunch a few years back when my transponder stopped working)

Never lived anywhere where they had toll roads. Visited NJ once when I was 16 and it was a PITA to keep stopping for tolls. I'm guessing they do that instead of charging it out of registration/property taxes?

NJ has some of the highest property taxes in the country and you still have to pay for registration
