The right lane is for vehicles entering and leaving the highway and for "slower" moving vehicles AKA under the speed limit.

The middle lane is for vehicles moving, "With the flow of traffic" which being 5 MPH over the speed limit, I think it is safe to say I was moving with the "flow".

The left lane is for passing.

Round here the left lane is the only passing lane. Right lane is where people are trying to exit and merge onto the freeway. Only an asshole rides in that lane when he doesn't have to.

My dad used to glare at drivers like that, but if you asked him, he wasn't giving them the evil eye. He was just looking to see what sort of retards they were giving licenses to now. And then he'd get in front of you and slow down till you moved over. I've seen him going 5mph in the fast lane before the idiot took the hint.

I wouldn't have a problem tipping them, but I rarely carry cash anymore and when I do I don't have singles. Bathroom attendants are awkward enough already but then I have to be like "ummm can you a break a $20?"

That's why I have grille guards on both my trucks, if you live in deer country and drive much at night in rural areas it really saves on the body damage.

I had it so bad once, I got into the habit of packing my cheek out with a piece of bread to stop the damage and end the cycle.

I often go in to pay by CC because I'm also picking up smokes or soda or whatever, and I don't see the point of doing 2 transactions.

jesus fucking christ this. I dont know what it is but every couple of months it happens to me and its just a vicious cycle until its this massive swollen and extremely painful lump. Last time it happened about a month ago it was so sensitive/painful I could barely move my mouth.

Actually about 15 years ago when TX passed the law that required you to move over for faster traffice they had a big PR campaign including TV comericals and billboards about how it didn't matter how fast the person in the left lane was going, if you were going slower you needed to move over. As far as I know the law still stands as written that you were required to move over regardless of how fast the person coming up to you was going.

They had a bunch of people in commercials saying stuff like "What if they are doing 200mph" and the cop would say "Well you better move over and get out of their way".
