Whats rustling your jimmies?

my wife and i will get up and leave after ordering if we wait an excessive amount of time. it's so expensive to go anywhere nice that i dont have time/money for a restaurant or waiter to have a bad night.

this has only happened a few times. the most memorable was at a local place called Palmer's. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Waited 30-35 minutes and just got up and left. We ended up at a hibachi place and had a great night.

Complaining may get you something for your bad experience... but sort of ruins the night.

I'm a 25% tipper, and today was the very first time ever I haven't left a tip.
While I respect not leaving a tip after shitty service, I think a purposeful BAD tip sends a stronger message. On a 25 dollar bill, leaving no tip could be perceived as forgetfulness or not having enough money, etc. Leaving a $1 tip shows that the service was not worth 25%, 15%, or even 5%.

Sidenote: Jimmies rustled by ALS Ice Bucket challenges FUCKING EVERYWHERE! FUCK OFF CUNTS.

Have a sister on Facebook and she's on a big O/S holiday posting updates, so I'm going there a bit just lately. But otherwise I never go there. And today, yep here's a facebook friend posting his vid of his icebucket challenge. I was tempted to comment and point out what a tool he is, but meh. Still rustled.

People who are too scared to go when its their turn at a 4 way stop. I mean...why are you hesitating when its your turn to go?? JUST FUCKING GO. It seems like every fucking time I'm at a 4 way stop someone screws it up. How hard is it to figure this shit out? When you pull up, you let the other people who are already stopped go, then you go...simple. WTF /rustled

Fuck a whole dollar. Make it a penny, and throw it on your dirty plate.

This used to rustle me too. Now whenever someone that got there earlier than me on a 4 way intersection hesitates, I just go. Figure if they're too fucking stupid to figure it out then they can wait.

Yea same. I had this old dude in front of me once and he let two full rotations of other cars go before he was brave enough to go...I nearly went nuclear.

People who do the challenge are still supposed to donate $10.

And since we have a water cycle, you know...the water is still there.

Maybe I should post this in the Old Age thread but the end of the three fingered salute when logging into Win8 machines rustles my jimmies. It just feels like two of my fingers are missing out.

There was a big marathon in my home town the other day. Went to cheer on some friends. Then I saw a bunch of disabled marathon participants... in electric scooters. WTF? How the hell does that work? They even received medals!

Now, I'm all for letting disabled people have a shot at things that test the limits of their endurance. The para-olymipics have some amazing athletes in them. And if these dudes were using regular wheelchairs, well, you need pretty good endurance and hand/arm strength to wheel yourself any great distance. But electric scooters? In a marathon? What were they testing? Their wrists ability to push the lever forward for an hour? The endurance of the battery?

Do we really need to let everybody have a chance at a medal just because?

And no, I didn't run, I'm not the athletic type. But man, at least make people put *some* effort into getting medals and achievements. Christ.

You're a tool. The amount of water wasted in the Ice Bucket Challenge is remote. You don't give a shit about how much water anyone wastes.

People that take smelly food up to the cancer clinic floor. If I vomit it's going to be in their lap and I won't feel bad about it at all.
and
People that take half an hour to answer their loud ass cellphone. Then proceed to be load assholes on said phone.

Thankfully the food people just left so they avoided the puke in their lap.

People that proudly say stupid shit on Facebook about how they're not installing the Facebook Messenger app on their phones because of the permissions shit, and are pretty much bragging about how they are fighting the man by doing so. Despite the fact that the Facebook app itself asks for pretty much the same permissions, and all of those permissions are needed for the app to do what it's supposed to do. And you know, the fact that Facebook has all their personal information anyway. Holy fuck, how stupid are you?

My earlier post:

. . here's a facebook friend posting his vid of his icebucket challenge. I was tempted to comment and point out what a tool he is, but meh. Still rustled.
~ And then picture.

To explain:

The guy on Facebook and the others who are posting the videos of having icewater dumped on them are tools because they are following the latest Slacktivism / Self-promoting / patting yourself on the back fad that's running through social media. And in taking the option of having the icewater dumped they are then making the much smaller $10 donation. And in doing so are showing off -> that they took the smaller option. Here's a funny video of me, ain't I funny & cool!!

^That had me rustled.

The picture of the kid in Africa getting water from a drain was a secondary point. Just to show how it'd look from their angle ( fictionalised yes, but an established meme ) The words in the picture wasn't my being reason for being rustled.

Slacktivism is
