I think I am going to trade in Smash, I am just horrible at it. I have found the GC adaptor at target and got a knockoff GC controller and I am still horrible. I bet I can sell this adaptor for a mint !I suck at smash i dont think that game is for me, but im down for some MK8 races or tourney or something.
That's such a totally different type of combat fighting game... SC is mostly meant to be a very pretty combo flowing game won or lost by combo cycles and counters. Smash is... more of a pot shot strategy brawler...well it was...I think my problem with smash is that shit just doesn't flow. Everything feels so clunky. I'm too used to soul calibur type combat flow.
I can't come this early in the night! Stop it!Oh and in case you don't watch until the end, they said Starfox is coming before Zelda in 2015.
Our family still plays all these too, especially NintendoLand because my little one loves the Luigi's Mansion mini game. I was thinking of picking up Hyrule Warriors for some co-op action with the oldest one. The system is definitely underrated. It is easily the best family console hands down.MarioKart is great, the DLC was very reasonable and you felt as if you actually got your moneys worth
SMASH has exceeded my expectations and that's saying something.
NintendoLand is still being played in our house.
Main reason I never got a Xbox or PS since the PS2. All of my 'adult' gaming is on the PC and the kids have the Wii (soon to be the Wii U after Christmas Day). Doesn't stop my daughter from also playing some PC games though (WoW mainly).yeah its definitely the best family console if you have kids under 14 then you definitely should have a wii u, much better playing that nowadays than watching TV together. If you have a family and can only buy one console then no doubt it should 100% be the wii u, there is very little for kids under 15 on ps4/xbone.
however as an adult you are sort of depriving yourself (assuming money isn't a big issue) without a PC, ps4 or xbox one. games like Last of Us, Dragon Age, Grand Theft Auto, Creed, Far Cry, Forza, Uncharted, Mass Effect, Saints Row, RDR, etc are really so far beyond what movies or most TV shows can provide in terms of "adult entertainment", I can only think of a handful of shows I'd rate above the best video games and even fewer movies. I need my adult time, dammit!
Pretty much this. I don't think I could even get time to play games on the TV unless the kids are in bed and even then I would rather be on the computer.Main reason I never got a Xbox or PS since the PS2. How old is your little one? I want my daughter (about to turn 3) to want to try a video game. Our family still plays all these too, especially NintendoLand because my little one loves the Luigi's Mansion mini game.
