Ummm...this is what happens when new consoles come out. You don't see Microsoft releasing OG XBOX games anymore.

i'm a PC gamer. only had/have 2 consoles:Sega Genesis/Mega Drive (still works eheh) and Wii.but the problem is that Wii didn't have many good games for me (FPS,TPS,RPG).and now appear so many good games for nintendo but NONE of them are for Wii.so much bullshit.....

the wiiu is going thru what every console goes through- though the wiiu's is a bit more pronounced. the game drought.

Assassin's Creed 3- it's good. better than the reviews say of course i never played the other ones.
scribblenauts unlimited- it is good
COD BLOPS2- for the FPS shooter in you- its really good if you like FPS GAMES- community is smaller but it's there
ZombiU- Solid "B" game. excellent use of the dual screen aspect, some glitches but very well done game- a true horror survival- this is a love it or hate it game.
tekken tag team- fun game.
madden- its madden

X (monolithsoft game- sequel to xenoblade(one of the better jrpg's on the wii- it is selling for ~100+ on ebay atm- )
Need for speed most wanted U- Main Dev from Criterion says it is the best looking Console Version of the game, sure it's a late port but it looks great(they steadied the fps vs the ps360) and are using the PC textures on the PS3/360 framework(looks great).
Watch Dogs- officially announced yesterday.
you like Zelda Wind Waker? HD version coming this fall
next COD of course will be on WiiU

my kids love the console, i love the offtv play option- so does my 11yr old son he can take the gamepad to his bedroom and play while i watch tv or watch a movie on the big tv in the living room.
nintendo HAS done a poor job differentiating the WiiU from the wii, most nongamers think it is just an addon to the Wii...they should have named it Wii2 or super wii or something else.

My problem is I live in the US and they do not ship here. I know there is a BB Canada, I'm not too far from Windsor. It was the BB customer service who told me there was no BB in Canada.
The Wii U bundle is not available at BB in the US, but it is in Canada. I have a gift card, so that is why I wanted to buy from BB. They lose out I guess because I would have been spending 300 cash on top of my gift card.

Btw, got an email from Nintendo today. Said basically every day for the next month a new virtual console game will be 30 cents for that day. Email said yesterdays was F-zero. Might be worth keeping an eye out on the VC shop if you care about those

You'd be surprised. Some of the RPGs etc for iPad/iPhone are pretty damn good. Order & Chaos is pretty damn fun, and it's basically World of Warcraft, albeit somewhat simplified, but on your phone man. I spent quite a few hours PKing faggots while waiting in line at stores, etc.

I have great news for the five people on here that bought a WiiU have had only turned it on twice. Nintendo is having a 30year /$.30cent sale on a few popular SNES & NES games. Super Metroid being one of them. Expires 6/13.

Meh, if all 3rd party support gets you is rehashes of CoD, Madden, and Battlefield from the big time developers - whats the point. Those companies aren't making new or interesting games anyways - they have to make big budget AAA titles that are aimed at the masses.
Only reason I bought a Wii/Wii U is for the stuff from Nintendo and their cadre of smaller 2nd and 3rd party devs like Monolith Soft and other companies who make a unique game I can't get on PC or Xbox/PS. There is zero reason for all 3 consoles to be the same and fighting over the same IPs - let Nintendo do it's own thing, it's better for everyone. I'll be buying a PS4 for it's exclusives and PC will be for anything else - all Xbone exclusives will be releasing on PC this generation since it will be a snap to port so no reason for developers not to.

Wii U was a good buy for me. A couple hundred hours out of MH3U, netflix box, kids enjoy Nintendoland from time to time, plus Mario, Smash, Zelda, etcetc will be coming.
Plus it has a lot of features I don't use, but I'm sure other people do, especially the tv sports app.
It might be a little pricey for what it really is, but to say I won't get 100s of hours, if not 1000s by the time the next gen comes out would be wrong.
