I'm not in the beta (boo!), but I'm positive they have said that mentoring is a feature that will definitely be in for launch.

I see no reason to disbelieve. If someone offered a smooth running level 60 WoW today, I'd probably be the first to create an account because it was a pretty good game at launch. There's hundreds of people who log in to fresh classic EQ servers these days, the main reason they eventually stop doing that is because they all have corrupt as fuck staff that makes you feel like you're playing North Korea mode when you compete with the admin pets for content.

My friends are all interested and we all still talk about Vanilla WoW with rose tinted shades on, so yeah I say that. I find combat in WoW to be boring nowadays though, not that "Oh raids are easier" bullshit, I just genuinely am bored of any MMO playing the game of sit and cast.

i got in too, its a pretty short stress tho only 4 hours each on fri and sat. fuck, i won't even be home saturday, but it'll be fun to see if this is as disappointing as the teso beta was

Their NDA seems to hold up pretty well, I've been looking for some info and didnt find much really. That's usually a good sign. Still I'm not sure if they can beat WoW at their own game. Even a struggling WoW on the decline is a giant in the genre and has a huge content edge on any newcomers.
