I hope your interest in this thread means we can count on you playing a medic.Looks like I missed out on the big cock train. Left handed though!

haha, god I don't know bro. I'm not sure I can take healing in another mmo. Maybe if the Medic is like WAR warrior priests!I hope your interest in this thread means we can count on you playing a medic.![]()
The real question you need to ask yourself is whether or not you can stomach someone else playing the healer while you not so subtly point out to him that if you were the one healing things would be going much smoother. I also think we both know the answer to that question!I'm not sure I can take healing in another mmo.
This is why I ALWAYS roll a healer main. Unfortunately you're still at the mercy of terribad tanks. The real question you need to ask yourself is whether or not you can stomach someone else playing the healer while you not so subtly point out to him that if you were the one healing things would be going much smoother. I'm not discussing whether the combat is good or bad, as I've already said I liked it. My point is the actiony combat makes the game much more spammy. The nature of the system means one will be pushing a lot of buttons. I'm just not sure how you can say it doesn't, even if you streamline every option. You're saying you don't see facts in my post, and then you're complaining about channeling needs holding down button. The simple fact that you can change how abilities are triggered via the combat options is way better than a full explanation. You're not forced to hold down your button during channeling, it's a choice.
Pretty much the same for me, and I held out close to a year hoping for improvements. I think from the dev speak and previews they do take endgame serious, so the odds are good in that regard.Game feels very similar to GW2 for me with more WoW humor and flavour thrown in.. which is a good thing. I leveled a couple characters to cap in that game and had they had anything remotely meaningful to do at the cap I would still be playing that.
Can't comment on rep grinds but given how every npc you kill gives rep for an area, I'd say it's a safe bet that there will be rep grinds in some form.Does Wildstar have reputation grinds or other optional activities for fluff like mini-pets, titles, special skins or recipes, mounts or housing items? I think diversifying away from pure combat activities is a good way to lighten up the endgame.
Yea, I imagine outfitting your house could fill the desire for optional activities quite well, since there are tons and tons of housing items you can get in various ways.Pretty much the same for me, and I held out close to a year hoping for improvements. That's why WoW invented Death Knights, awesomeness all-in-one package. I'm not reading much on WS yet, (I applied for beta, but no luck so far), but I hope they have some life leeching tank in there, or tank-ish healer at that. This is why I ALWAYS roll a healer main. Unfortunately you're still at the mercy of terribad tanks.
Hm I mostly play with normal mice / keyboard, maybe I should try one of those to see the difference.I'm not discussing whether the combat is good or bad, as I've already said I liked it. I have an N52 I use for Neverwinter and D3, although I haven't played those games in a while. I may dust that off and try it out here. I don't use it in WOW, SWTOR, or P99 simply because I don't need to with my G15 Keyboard and I tend to chat more. Also, whoever said this is the same as Rift is crazy. I can macro one G key on my Keyboard for that game, and with it's tab targeting system play for hours and hours and never need a break. Wildstar is grinding my poor hands down.
its going to be, thats why i rolled one.haha, god I don't know bro. I'm not sure I can take healing in another mmo. Maybe if the Medic is like WAR warrior priests!
I picked up with a Naga Epic for D3, TSW, and GW2. I love it to death. Its an amazing device for those games with limited action bars. Its my everyday-usage mouse now. In games with tons of actions, such as EQ2, etc. it might be of more limited utility but even aside from the buttons, it is an all-around great mouse with fantastic lighting.Hm I mostly play with normal mice / keyboard, maybe I should try one of those to see the difference.
