There are two sides to this coin. If you have people who want to be there and try, and you feel that they want to improve then it's all good. But god forbid you are raid leading and the other people in your "family" guild are coming to the raids with the attitude that they are doing you a favor by being there, and you should be thankful they even show up. Setting up the raid at 7:30 pm, people not logging in until 8 pm, not reading up on boss strategies and then not listening when you explain it, and also not asking questions if they don't understand something. Sindragosa in ICC sucked the very soul out of me. Suffer mortals, as your pathetic magic betrays you!Even now, I would rather raid with a handful of guys/gals who WANT to be there, and try, even if they fail, but have a good attitude and a good camaraderie than 18 other perfect players with the typical ego issues that come with every heroic raider that thinks they are really as mythic raider, except they arent... but it isnt ever THEIR fault they arent.
The worst part is that they started to resent me, and I started to resent them. Because at the end of the day I couldn't figure out why they would even come to the raids. Is it the loot? Purple epics seem to be one hell of a drug.
