You can be corpse camped if there's enough people. Also if your mount is a shitty slow speed one while they have an epic mount and a way to fuck your ass with an instant(instant sheep or blind > cheap shot > assrape) even if you get out you might still die a bit later. Granted this didn't happen that often in my experience, although I feel if you play in some streamer's guild you might actually get actively corpse camped by nerds. Then again, you chose to join a streamer's guild, so you're a retard to begin with.

Unless the landscape is totally flat like Desolace or its a dead end like the back of a cave you really can't be camped if you are smart. Even then you are out in a few runs. Hotspots like Strangethorn Vale have lots of trees to block line of sight.

However I have corpsecamped people, most res directly on top of their corpse and stand still like a dumbass for a few seconds while they adjust to the colours changing from monochrome to colour.

I think a lot of people just refuse to go elsewhere too.

Yes it's easier in STV, but with enough people you will be spotted, plus as far as I remember a hunter can track you and you'll pop as a dot the moment you take the rez and clip you with scatter before you can leave. And as I said, if you have the normal mount and they have epic, they can chase you down anyway. Plus not every place in STV is full of trees and easy to rez into. If you die on the bridge, you're fairly fucked as to where to rez and you're gonna have to drag your corpses over time into the woods first, same if you die on the beaches when questing there.

As I've said it happened very rarely really, sometimes you'll die 2-3times in a row until you can outwit people, but generally it's fine, but it can get pretty messy if there's enough people dedicated to ruining your time. Also it's not that obvious where is safe when 3/4 of the ppl camping you are rogues, you can sometimes spot them but they can be standing pretty far and still reach you with sprint > blind if they spot you as you rez. Have to remember using a mount in vanilla is like what, 3secs cast time? Shit's slow.

Getting excited for this, and it kind of came out of nowhere really. Wasn't that pumped, but watching all of these videos is bringing back some serious nostalgia. Not going to have a ton of time to play the first week, but the week after I imagine I'll be poopsocking pretty hard.

Was pretty much me. I had no plans at all to play. Then watched a youtube video, which turned into more videos, which turned into its 2am and I was still watching videos. Now I am excited to play and can't wait.

I don't think you really need any addons to find groups, and you don't have to worry about shouting to people around you either. There's a LookingForGroup channel that I imagine everyone will join.

But if you're in the FoH guild you should have zero problems just finding a group in guild chat.
