Do any of you guys not like the fact that there's hardly any guild chat due to everyone being on discord? To me, that breaks immersion and makes me feel like I'm playing a single player game.

The reason it breaks immersion is because I have a single monitor and have to alt + tab to talk to people. You're telling me there is integration between the two?

I know this is a forum and its easy to be an asshole, but yes. Just search it. Theres mods/addons that work in tandem with Discord Bots, etc. If you dont want to do that or cant understand how to get it to work, you can do an always on top Overlay and resize it to the size of a chat window. That way you're not alt tabbing between the two and it doesnt interrupt your gameplay.

Also Ventrilo and Teamspeak are very offended by this Discord comment and odd pretending that people in MMO's didn't talk years and years ago. Shit in the EQ days American Inventors be throwing their landline phone numbers around to wake up at 2:43am on a Tuesday morning to kill DickNutsRarespawn_01 that will ruin your immersion right there.

Conference calling cause dial up was shit, those were the days. The difference between a serious and casual gamer, was how many phone lines you had.

So first, I definitely don't want to be voice chatting with people. Weird, totally immersion breaking, and given the variety of people who play WoW, I don't want to know that I'm playing with some neckbeard redditor leftist cuck. Rather just believe they're a fantasy character on a screen.
Second, it has nothing to do with being poor. My monitor is a 42" OLED, and having a monitor adjacent or above it would look like crap (I tried it).
I will say that I don't mind discord for raiding as voice is pretty much required for that, but day to day leveling? Nah.
