Technically anyone can do it, but it takes a lot of time, RNG, and gear/proper spec. Some of the solo fights are pretty hard otherwise. Not green warlock fire hard, but close.
Is flex raids the huge reveal that's supposed to 'double the content'? It's a great feature but I'm not so sure that's a huge announcement but maybe I overly anticipated.

There was never a promise of a feature that would 'double the content'. The WoW community took one 'we haven't announced our favorite MoP feature yet' comment and ran with it so far that the WoW team had to actually downplay that any such features would exist in the weeks before 5.4 PTR.
How many different ways are they going to introduce to do the exact same raid content every week? No matter how many times you change the name (easy mode, hard mode, LFR, flex raid, 10man, 25man) it's the same stuff with more or less shit to stand in and larger numbers. It comes off as lazy to me.
WHAT?! THIS IS DOUBLE THE CONTENT. THIS ISNT EVERQUEST WHERE EVERY RAID MOB IS CONTESTED LOL. WE HAVE CONTENT, AND WE HAVE THAT CONTENT SERVED TO US IN SO MANY UNIQUE AND AWESOME WAYS.

It's notsupposedto be run X times - it's so the content is made as widely available as possible. Parallel, not serial. Got a solid guild? Run heroics. Got a casual guild? Normals/Flex*. Got a terrible guild/can't be bothered with 'real' raiding? Run LFR. It's deliberately designed so that people shouldn't feel obliged to run all of them unless they're some sort of terrible poopsocking sperg-lord (hi Dumar!).
*Istronglysuspect TBC2: Felectric Boogaloo is going to do away with normal 10/25 man raids and people get told to just run flex.

interesting arena change for blizzard, it is quite nice how servers are becoming irrelevant. Its almost become a requirement now for the next xpac to get rid of hard factions though, the whole alliance vs horde thing is the final barrier to break down. I hope new MMOs like Wildstar gets rid of the whole server idea and move to just global namespaces and megaservers.

CAn't happen unless you don't care about instanced content which I hear is unpopular with the EQ neckbeards. Yes its nice to play with anyone you want however you want, but this isn't Everquest which had a total population of just the Illidan and Tichondrius servers.

Logged in last night and spent some time configuring my UI back to what it was (just ElvUI and Skada - try to run pretty minimal). Can't decide what class to play next. I've got 90 DK, 81 Lock, 71 Paladin, 70 Warrior, 65 Shaman, 50 Druid, 85 Hunter, 75 Monk, can't remember the rest. Might do Lock and Paladin, not sure. The lock I think would only take a few days to hit 90.
Affliction might be the easiest but it is the worst dps, and at your gear level it is worse comparatively than later gear levels and doesn't beat any of the other specs until you're in BiS.
