I was curious about this and did some googling.Ner'zhul is dead, Arthas killed his spirit or whatever during one of the questlines in Icecrown per some dev talk maybe at the last blizzcon.
Looks like you're right, but again, it's Metzen so :/"We are one, Arthas. Together, we are the Lich King. No more Ner'zhul, no more Arthas-- only this one glorious being. With my knowledge, we can--"
His eyes bulged as the sword impaled him.
Arthas stepped forward, plunging the glittering, hungering Frostmourne ever deeper into the dream-being that had once been Ner'zhul, then the Lich King, and was soon to be nothing, nothing at all. He slipped his other arm around the body, pressing his lips so close to the green ear that the gesture was almost intimate, as intimate as the act of taking a life always was and always would be.
"No," Arthas whispered. "No we. No one tells me what to do. I've got everything I need from you-- now the power is mine and mine alone. Now there is only I. I am the Lich King. And I am ready."
The orc shuddered in his arms, stunned by the betrayal, and vanished.
The long and short of it is that Ra-den was a Titan warden and keeper of the Mogu. When the Titans stopped communicating or whatever he was lost in time, even to the Mogu. The Mogu eventually became corrupted and were turned into truly living beings (not just animated stone). The Thunder King went into the Vaults of Mogu'shan and discovered Ra-den as well as the Engine of the Makers. He fought Ra-den and defeated him, absorbing his Titanic essence and imbuing himself with the power to command the storms and lightning. He then used Ra-den to create more living contructs (the Anima is from Ra-den) and to create the Saurok.I didn't play during most of 5.2 or 5.3, was the optional boss in ToT cool like algalon? Was he a titan or something? I remember some videos of you falling through a floor and fighting a guy who looked like Under-The-Mountain guy.
Ooh, higher res textured versions of High Warlord gear. Nice.I guess the next xpac is going to level 100? Kinda cool killing heroic garrosh will drop stuff that will help you level, they really need to do an item squish though this is getting ridiculous
not as cool as Algalon and incredibly unfinished, the first guilds who reached him could cheese parts of his mechanics for an easy killI didn't play during most of 5.2 or 5.3, was the optional boss in ToT cool like algalon? It's lfr...Surprisingly, no one ever posted this in this thread.
And people wonder why sub numbers are dropping. Holy shit. Not playing the game since TBC, I had no idea it degenerated to that extent.
Sorry, but you have a massive amount of time on your hands if you are able to do all that in 7 weeks.I've been playing the last 7 weeks after not playing for more than a month since vanilla. In that 7 weeks I've raised eleven characters to max level (one was 85 most of the others from lvl 1), formed a guild 6 weeks ago and got it to lvl 20 with only me in it, earned 80,000 gold just from quest rewards, done the pokemon thing and got over 200 battle pets and done world bosses, heroics and raid bosses until they are coming out of my ears. Oh and raised mining, herbcraft, skinning, alchemy, enchanting, leathworking, jewelcraft and inscription to max (600) from zero.
It is fun. But it's so easy and casual now it's more like a Facebook game than an MMORPG. I wouldn't bet against it going FoP some time in the next year.
No. Max about six hours a day, 4-5 days a week. It's just that quick and easy to do anything in WoW these days apart from dailies. Quite stupid. They remove the time consuming factor from everything, then make the end game extremely tedious limited dailies to grind rep.Dude.. did you play like 16 hours a day?
Have you tried leveling or gearing up in the last few months ? Honestly it's stupidly quick.Sorry, but you have a massive amount of time on your hands if you are able to do all that in 7 weeks.
