Yup that's what I'm doing. Still wanna level the 70 though... Feel like such a scrub... I didn't even know how to get to Northrend. I also have no idea what 60% of my abilities do, and the talent trees are almost completely changed.

MoP is currently on sale for 50% off or it was the last time I checked. Unsure if you will get a better deal than that.

Go to your spellbook/abilities page and there will be a "What has changed?" tab and also a "Core abilities" (aka "Here are your main abilities and what to do with them") tab.

Also find the honking great noticeboard in the nearest capital city and pick up the breadcrumb from that - it should get you to either of the Northrend starting zones.

if you didnt already do it, ask a friendly mage to port your ass to mop shrine so you can bind yourself there and use the portals into all the major cities.

Nonetheless, I bought collectors edition MoP as I do all WoW expansions because I wanted the art book. It's the last great thing Blizzard can actually produce. I used my 7 day free trial; it was fun and now I'm done again until a month before next expansion.

What is this nonsense? I played every last bit of content in MoP? That's news to me, should let me know. I bought MoP because I had hoped heroics would be tuned as early Cata's were, which I enjoyed. Fool me once.

I get Blizzcon tickets for free. Not sure what the 'feverishly' is even referring to, likely more nonsense.

So I'm picking up WoW again for the first time since the end of Cataclysm since I just had shoulder surgery and I'm stuck not doing anything for the next couple months.

I started leveling my Pally as Ret, but I'm unsure what they look like at cap. What's the state of healers currently? I wouldn't mind leveling a Monk, and I have a Druid sitting at 85 currently.

If I were to play DPS, are melee being fistfucked, or are they in a good place?

i dunno how long you have been away but I've found most boss encounters have melee and ranged specific mechanics they need to deal with. you still have dps loss switching to adds but you have bubble witch negates alot of mechanics and good off heals. my dps is very competitive in my raid i tend to top all non cleave fights. overall Im having a good time with the game.

The problem with BM's are they are gearing for crit (and naturally get crit via AGI). That's only a "problem" when compared to other tanks.

I have a sneaking suspicion that tanking plate is going the way of the dodo next expansion. GC has said on a few occasions that they like how the gearing works for druid and monk tanks, and I know they've been wanting to reduce loot table size for a while now. This whole expansion has been an experiment in active mitigation for tanks, and I think it's worked pretty well. I, for one, won't miss plate tank gear.
