thats like my rogue... as combat i have mostly 522ish ilevel armor/trinkets on him... except i have had absolute shit luck on weapons so i'm still using garbage 476 weapons.
I can make that ilevel 505(502?) reborn sword today so i'll have a slightly better upgrade but damn... having those horrible weapons really kills my dps

Frost is fucking mighty these days seems like. The new mastery is cool, you get icicles for casting frostbolt, then when you ice lance they shoot off for damage.

They also auto fire (one at a time) if you manage to get 6 without an ice lance proc so they're never wasted.

I went from fresh-90 geared Warlock to full 496 (with one 489) gear + a lucky 502 ToT LFR staff drop in about 6 hours. 500 or so ilvl and able to queue for all raids in 1/4 a day. I have no idea what kind of DPS I should be doing as Destro, but I managed in the 110k? ish range in the first wing of the new raid, which was usually in the top 6 or 7 people.

Game was always good at catch up!

The first week Timeless Isle went live I managed to get full sets of plate and cloth for alts and also was able to gear my hunter in mail. The drops have been drastically nerfed now tho' especially those "gambling" chests.

does that OQueue work for old shit too? Or is that just something openraid is used for? I always have a difficult time running something like BT these days.. Obviously I can solo it.. but 1 or 2 others may as well join to make it faster heh

Yep, works for old shit too. You just can't trade with each other.

I play Frost. With a 555 ilvl, I pull 200k dps regularly, upwards of 250-280k on fights like Protectors or Klaxxi. I use Evocation.

On some fights with lots of movement, I dip as low as 170-180k, mind you.

Frost is best until 560 ilvl, then fire. Arcane if you have 4 piece heroic tier 15 (you can go arcane really early if you have that) otherwise Arcane once 565. Fire and Arcane are comparable, on a fight where there isn't a lot of movement, arcane is best, when there is movement, fire is best. Play which of the two you like the most.

I'm currently 557 and play as frost, I'm always top dps.

The ilevel power differentiations is because of haste mechanics versus crit, right?
