I really don't understand how this shit isn't figured out on day 1 of implementing the mission table for them.
Dev_1: "Okay we added the mission table and rep tokens in it."
Ion: "I don't want an actual token, it needs to be automatically applied when the mission is completed."
Dev_2: "Okay but how do you want us to take care of when they are exalted if there is no physical token?"
Ion: "Okay the next item is making contracts expire every 7 days"
Dev_1: *leans over to Dev_2* "Umm did we resolve the exalted thing?"
*Dev_2 shrugs and sighs"
Ion: "So we want them to be buying Inscription items every week because I have Inscription on my characters."

Oh, I agree and with this change I thought to myself "of course it is supposed to be every 7 days". They did this to themselves with all the glyph reworks though.
Anyways it's just one more hilarious item in the long list of random ass priorities.

I'm still salty they took the reputation missions from the Legion mission table out of the game. I still have 1 more mount to farm and those missions were my primary source of faction. Now I can only get like 3k/week if I'm lucky getting the right legion emissary to pop.

All of this leads me back to my first thought that BFA was rushed and released about 6 months earlier than it really should have been.
As for the rep things they really just need to fuck off and make reps account wide. If that’s to much to ask than at least make alt reps prior to the current expansion account wide.
In the very fucking least they could go back and to the Pandaland expac and once you hit max they give you a 100% bonus for other characters.
Until then I will continue to pray to RNGesus that Ion gets dick cancer.

I really don't understand why they take things that worked out so well and just scrap them.
Scenarios they scrapped but Expeditions is basically just that reskinned.
The reputation booster for your account.
The mounts and bags from paragon.
So many others also but they just drop these things for no discernible reason.

I honestly think every time the team shifts the new guys try and “make their mark” on the game. As such we have a ton of flopping back and forth on the same ideas.

I still have plenty of rep mission popping on the class hall... (at least one a day)
Yeah, they either completely scrap or neuter most good design decisions into the ground. They spend years making progress only to throw it all away with a new approach. I liken their design philosophy to that of a pendulum. The only parts of the game that seem mostly immune to it are dungeons & raids designs.

They still have missions showing up for those 250/750/Tribute boxes, or are you talking about other ones? (I didn't start on Legion content until the BFA prepatch when I got it "for free" so...)
